FAQ Payment for Online Bookings

• I have requested a refund. How long does it take to process?
  Refunds typically take 6-8 weeks as they are processed by the airlines.
• Are my credit card details secure?
  Yes. Security is important to House of Travel, your payment transaction and credit card details are protected by the latest SSL certified 128 bit encryption technology. House of Travel does not retain or distribute your credit card information when you book with houseoftravel.co.nz.
• Can I pay a deposit now and the rest at a later date?
  When booking online we require full payment of your booking.
• Can I pay by Amex?
  ​Yes, you can.  We now accept American Express credit cards.
• Can I use a non New Zealand credit card to pay for a booking?
  Yes. Any valid Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express card can be used, regardless of the issuing bank/organisation.
• Can I use someone elses credit card, or a business credit card to pay for my booking?
  Yes. As long as you are authorised to use the credit card and it is a valid Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express card.
• How do I pay for the travel I book on houseoftravel.co.nz?
  Using a valid Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express credit card or internet bank payments via the DPS Account to Account service. You can also pay using Q Card or True Rewards.
• If I don't have a credit card how can I book travel on houseoftravel.co.nz?
  You can pay via the DPS Account to Account service.   Alternatively you can use a Visa Debit card or Westpac Debitplus card to book online, to find out more click here.
• Is tax included on a domestic fare?
  Yes all taxes are included in the price.
• When is my credit card billed?
  Your credit card is billed within 24-hours of your booking.
