The good news is, there’s never a bad time to head to the islands — there are just some even better times. Here’s when to plan your escape! FIJI. OCTOBER TO NOVEMBER
Fiji is basically a year-round paradise, but weather from October to early November will be warm, dry and consistent. There will be fewer crowds (and cheaper fares) because rain is more likely than the months between May and September. But if you see the odd shower as a perfect reason to duck into one of the luxurious spas or top-notch happy hours, October and November are ideal.

Tahiti’s dry season means less humidity and blissful beach-lounging temperatures sitting between 20-25°. Also hot? July is a month packed with Polynesian festivals — so if you’re after a high-spirited vibe, that’s the time.

The months from May to November are slightly cooler but with much less rain. December to May will be hotter but you’ll see a lot more rain. June and August are Samoa’s peak months but anytime from May to October is our pick as prices will be best either side of the busy months. The months between April and October see temperatures between 18° and 28°, with low humidity — heaven, basically! Swimming temperatures are enjoyable year-round but January, February and March occasionally see cyclones.
