There are many things to do in this 843 acre park in the heart of New York City. Explore by foot, bike, horse-drawn carriage or tuk tuk. Row your way around the lake or opt for a more relaxing gondola ride. Over the summer months enjoy everything from concerts to free Shakespeare plays.

Stretching across the East River, the iconic Brooklyn Bridge opened in 1883. Now it’s one of the most recognisable parts of the New York City skyline and you can walk or bike across on the elevated pedestrian walkway for breath-taking views of the city.

Running from the Hudson Yards to the northern edge of Chelsea on the west side of Manhattan, you’ll find the Highline. A former elevated railway line that has been turned into a dynamic park with wildflowers, greenery, outdoor art installations and great views of the city’s skyline.

There are 150 museums in Manhattan which are some of the City’s most powerful draws. From the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) through to the American Museum of Natural History. Each house immense collections and exhibitions, you can quite easily lose an afternoon in one of these.
