Your Itinerary
Arrive at Rome Fiumicino Airport and transfer by private car to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the Eternal city. Overnight in Rome.
After breakfast, join the included Imperial Tour of Rome, featuring the Roman Forum and Colosseum, with a guided introduction to Ancient Rome and its gladiatorial history. The afternoon is free to explore independently. Overnight in Rome.
After breakfast, make your own way to Rome Termini station. Travel by high-speed train to Naples. The journey takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Upon arrival, join a full-day excursion to Pompeii, the ancient Roman city preserved following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, followed by time to discover the vibrant city of Naples. Return to Rome by train in the evening. Upon arrival, make your own way to the hotel. Overnight in Rome.
After breakfast at the hotel, make your own way to Rome Termini station to board the high-speed train to Florence. The journey takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. After arriving, make your own way to your hotel. Enjoy free time to explore the city independently. Overnight in Florence.
Enjoy a full-day excursion through the picturesque Tuscany countryside. Visit the medieval village of Monteriggioni, followed by Siena, featuring Piazza del Campo, Siena Cathedral, Palazzo Pubblico and Torre del Mangia. Continue to San Gimignano, famous for its medieval towers and Vernaccia wine, before visiting the Chianti region for a wine tasting. Return to Florence in the evening. Overnight in Florence.
After breakfast at the hotel, make your way to the train station to board the regional train to La Spezia. The journey takes approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. Upon arrival, make your own way to the hotel. The included two-day Cinque Terre Train Card provides access to the National Park, regional trains and local buses connecting the five villages. Overnight in La Spezia.
After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring the Cinque Terre at leisure, discovering its five colourful coastal villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. Overnight in La Spezia.
After breakfast at the hotel, make your own way to the station and board the intercity train to Milan. The journey takes approximately 3 hours 20 minutes. Upon arrival, make your own way to the hotel with free time to visit the city of Milan at your own pace. Overnight in Milan.
Breakfast at the hotel and then make your own way to the station to take the regional train to Como. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Explore the town at leisure before enjoying the included day ticket for the Lake Como public boats, allowing time to discover the lake and its picturesque lakeside villages. Make your own way to the station and return to Milan in the evening. Overnight in Milan.
After breakfast at the hotel, make your own way to the train station and board the high-speed train to Venice. The journey takes approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. Upon arrival, make your own way to your Venice hotel. In the afternoon enjoy a 30-minute gondola ride with commentary via mobile app. Overnight in Venice.
After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring Venice and its lagoon at your own pace. Overnight in Venice.
