River Cruising with Scenic

What a fabulous way to visit some of the most Beautiful cities of Europe. I was lucky to cruise with Scenic Cruises from Budapest via Bratislava, Vienna, Durnstein, Melk to Passau.  A trip on the Danube is filled with such beauty and really is the most luxurious way to see the sights of Europe.

Tahiti

Ia ora na.  What is there to say about the beautiful islands of Tahiti. Spectacular. It was like a dream visiting Papeete, Moorea and Bora Bora.

River Cruising Europe

River cruising in Europe with TAUCK’s MS Grace on their ‘Rhine and Swiss Alps’ cruise from Amsterdam to Bern. A fantastic experience gliding past fairy-tale castles, visiting  the windmills of Kinderdyke and picture-book villages, cycling along the riverbank, and a Tauck Exclusive evening of dinner and music at Schloss Ehreshoven.

Cambodia - June 2014

Another country on my Bucket list and it certainly didn't disappoint. What a incredible and moving experience watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat and visiting Angkor Thom (The tomb Raider tree). Cambodia is now one of my favourite destinations.

Canada – June 2013

Had a wonderful time sightseeing in Vancouver – there are so many wonderful excursions to do.  Of the many highlights was the Capliano Suspension bridge just outside of Vancouver – 450 feet long and 230 feet above the Capliano river. I thought I would nonchalantly walk across but no I had to hold on and intrepidly cross. The most exciting day was the Beluga Whale encounter at the Vancouver acquarium, where you get close up and personal with the  Beluga Whales – such an absolute thrill.

Alaska Silversea Cruise – June 2013
I was fortunate to experience Alaska onboard the Silver Shadow on a cruise from Seward to Vancouver. Silversea is small ship 6 star cruising at its best and  a wonderful way to experience Alaska.  There were so many highlights, but the best experience was a photo expedition tour of the whales and glaciers in Juneau & viewing the Hubbard Glacier – champagne in hand.

Caribbean - Nov 2014

New York the Big Apple. What is it about this city that totally  mesmerizes me. I've been fortunate to spend a large part of my life in this fascinating city and it really does hold a special place in my soul. 

Sailing to or from New York was on my bucket list and it certainly exceeded expectations when I sailed from NY to the Caribbean on the Silver Whisper.   Cruising is definitely a great way to experience the diverse Caribbean Islands and their most amazing beaches. Highlight was Bermuda - totally unexpected and so beautiful.
