Stay somewhere different when in Utah!

Utah has a range of accommodation that are not your usual room in a hotel!  There are unique places to stay that come in the form of 'Under Canvas' (Glamping), vintage airstreams, wagons, deluxe cabins, tee-pees and domes to name a few.  While some are basic, others still have the necessities required in a room.  Others exceed expectations with restaurants, swimming pools and outdoor games.  There are different options for your budget.  Many of these accommodations are located in amongst nature (think wide open spaces with jaw-dropping scenes) and will be on the highlight reel of your Utah holiday.

Here are some of our favourite places to stay in Utah - ask us for more options and details.

Bryce Camp and Glamp

A perfect stop if visiting Bryce Canyon National Park or Kodachrome Basin State Park, here you will stay in luxury domes surrounded by mature trees and breathtaking scenery.  Your dome allows you to experience the great outdoors without sacrificing comfort - full bathroom and kitchen, tv and wi-fi and a heating/cooling system.

AutoCamp Zion
After exploring nearby rivers and canyons, return to this stunning facility and enjoy the views.  Choose from an iconic Airstream, cabin or a BaseCamp Suite (a combo of an Airstream and a canvas tent).  Bring your own food and cook on an outdoor fire pit with a grill.  There is a seasonal heated swimming pool & complimentary morning yoga is available. A General Store is onsite for any supplies you might need.

Under Canvas Moab
Near to Moab, Canyonlands National Park and Arches National Park, these canvas tents are the perfect base for exploring the surrounding scenery.  The tents are spacious and come with their own wood-burning stove for those colder evenings.  You have grills and picnic areas for your own dining, and fire pits to gather around and share s'mores with other guests.

Capitol Reef Resort
Just a two minute drive from Capitol Reef National Park, you've got the choice of stand-alone cabins, a teepee or a characteristic Conestoga Wagon.  There is an outdoor heated pool and a hot tub to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.  Meals can be enjoyed at the Pioneer Kitchen overlooking the National Park.

Zion Glamping Adventures
About an hour drive from Zion National Park, each tent ensures privacy and comes with a picnic table, campfire pit and charcoal grill.  There is a common kitchen area if required, and you'll enjoy the evening campfire where all guests can gather and socialize while enjoying s'mores.

ULUM Moab
Upscale tents with all the bells and whistles, views of Canyonlands National Park and the Looking Glass Arch, a full service restaurant & hot and cold dipping pools - this place is a standout.  Take advantage of your private deck off your tent and be amazed at the star-filled night sky.

Cougar Ridge
This is located in the heart of natural beauty - the nearby town of Torrey has the official status of 'Dark Sky Community' meaning the stargazing will literally be out of this world.  This is a ranch style place to stay - choose from a room in the Grand Lodge or a stand-alone villa.  Rent e-bikes and explore the area, or simply walk around the property and interact with the wildlife.  Relax with a game of throwing horse-shoes or in a hot tub.

Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort
This is a 4000 acre ranch on the eastern side of Zion National Park. Choose from a cabin, glamping tent or a home that will accommodate for those longer stays.  The Ranch has a Recreation Centre for inside activities, a swimming pool and jacuzzi, and a restaurant.

Red Cliffs Lodge
Surrounded by red cliffs, this property is about 25 mins drive from Moab.  Suites and cabins are on offer, with a nod to the log furniture one might expect in a ranch.  As well as being home to the Moab Museum of Film and Western Heritage, there are plenty of activities and services, including massage therapy, which might be just the ticket after a day of adventures.
