Itinerary
Day 1: Barcelona
Welcome to Barcelona. Upon arrival, private transfer by a luxury car, with an English-speaking driver.
Day 2: Barcelona
Buffet breakfast and private sightseeing tour for 2 hrs with an English-speaking driver. Meet the driver in your hotel and, by the end of this tour, you will have gained complete vision of the city and highlights of Barcelona, a cosmopolitan Mediterranean city. We will visit the Ramblas, Olimpic port, Columbus monument and then on to the Montjuïc Mountain, where you will be able to see the Olympic Stadium and Sant Jordi Palace. We will arrive to Sagrada Familia to admire the façade of a unique creation that has become Barcelona’s most universal symbol. We will finish in the gothic quarter where you can stroll through the narrow streets and local shops.
Afternoon, we will enjoy a Private tapas tour, wine & market experience for dinner. The most inescapable element of Spanish cuisine is tapas, small snacks now popular all over the world. In all of Spain’s cities, towns and villages you will find bars, taverns, and even entire neighborhoods, specialized in tapas. Spending a day trying different tapas is the ideal way to experience Spanish culture. You will be escorted by a food and wine expert guide who will point out little-known cultural and gastronomic landmarks during the tour, as well as telling stories and answering queries, thus enriching and enlivening your experience of this vibrant and flavorful city. The tour includes: Tasting of tapas in a traditional Tavern, visit an authentic local market and one of the oldest Taverns of Barcelona.
Day 3: Barcelona
Buffet breakfast and free morning to enjoy the city. Afternoon you will learn to cook the most famous Spanish dishes in a funny Spanish cooking class. Learn how to cook a traditional Spanish seafood paella. Visit La Boqueria market with the chef to buy ingredients, and take a walk through the old town. Sample some tasty tapas, make sangria, and watch as the chef prepares a paella de marisco for you to enjoy.
Day 4: Barcelona - Catalan Winery Area
Buffet breakfast and enjoy a private tour of 5 hrs to the gourmet winery area of Penedés, located in less than an hour from Barcelona, between the plains of the Mediterranean coast and the nearby mountains and discover this region, with its wealth of art, culture and countryside. The region produces worldwide prestigious wines of exceptional quality: Cava (sparkling wine). Visit one of the famous winery with wine tasting. Local flavors that will immerse you, not only in the art of pairing, but also in the local culture and gastronomy.
Afternoon, enjoy a dinner of Spanish paella in a restaurant with the most privileged views that can be enjoyed from a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea.
Day 5: Barcelona
Buffet breakfast and a private transfer from the hotel to the airport.
