Northwest Passage with Aurora Expeditions
The local Inuit and their ancestors have lived in the winding channels of the fabled Northwest Passage for many ages, but it has also captivated explorers and adventurers for centuries. Explore a section of the famed Northwest Passage to get a glimpse into the world that enthralled early explorers like Franklin, Amundsen, and Larsen. Discover the towns and scenery of West Greenland before heading into the network of islands and waterways that constitutes Canada's High Arctic. Along the journey, we aim to get to know the indigenous people who live in this isolated wilderness and maybe see some of the local species, such as ringed and bearded seals, beluga whales, polar bears, and the numerous migrating seabirds.

- Hike on Devon Island, the world’s largest uninhabited island
- On Beechey Island, visit the graves of explorers from John Franklin’s expedition
