We fly northward to the next province Chiang Rai, the ancient capital of Lanna Kingdom and home to many ethnic hill tribes and a splendid White Temple; there are plenty of things to do from sipping tea amidst the misty mountain to taking a long tail boat ride on the mighty Mekong River. Krabi Beach Break

Unlike Phuket, Krabi is not as crowded and more laid back than Koh Samui. It is said that there are around 150 islands and islets along the Krabi coastline, many are just a small rocky outcrop erupt vertically out of the sea without landing access, creating picturesque scenery when looking out from mainland.
