Washington, D.C.
Monuments, museums, impressive government buildings and home of the President of the USA – the White House. Washington, D.C is full of iconic landmarks. Clean and green, steeped in history and culture, this city is easy to get around. Take a walk up ‘The Mall’, an avenue of impressive sights from the Jefferson Memorial and reflection pool, past the Washington Monument to the Smithsonian Institute, and onwards to the famous Capitol Building with its ornate dome rising in the landscape.
