Itinerary

On arrival at Taoyuan International Airport, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to relax or explore the area independently. Stay four nights in Taipei.

Today's full-day city tour includes visits to the Grand Hotel Taipei, the National Palace Museum and the historical Dihua Street in Dadaocheng. Explore Longshan Temple, Cheng-en Gate and the iconic Chiang Kai shek Memorial Hall. 

End the day with sweeping views from Taipei 101 observatory and a welcome dinner at the hotel.

Travel to Taiwan's scenic north coast. Admire the geological wonders are Yehliu Geopark before heading to the hillside village of Jiufen, once a prosperous gold-mining town. Visit the picturesque Shifen Waterfall and release a traditional sky lantern in Pingxi, a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Begin the day with a tea-tasting experience amid the rolling tea fields of Pinglin and Thousand Island Lake. Sample traditional 'stinky tofu' along Shenkeng Old Street, then enjoy a gentle hike up Elephant Mountain for panoramic views of Taipei's skyline.

Depart for central Taiwan and the breath-taking Sun Moon Lake. En route, visit Wenwu Temple, Ita Thao Indigenous Village, Xuanzhuang Temple and Ci En Pagoda. Take in the serenity of Taiwan's most iconic alpine lake. Stay overnight in Sun Moon Lake.

Head south to Kaohsiung, stopping at Fo Guang Shan, the largest Buddhist monastery in Taiwan. The the afternoon, explore the charming Love River and the bustling Liuhe Night Market. Stay overnight in Kaohsiung

Today, journey to Kenting National Park, located at Taiwan's southern tip. Visit Eluanbi Lighthouse, Maobitou, Chuanfan Rock and the Longpan Park. Continue along the scenic Southern Link Highway to the laid-back coastal town of Taitung. Stay overnight in Taitung.

Travel along the East Coast National Scenic Area, famed for its rugged coastlines and unique rock formations. Stop at Xiaoyeliu, Sanxiantai Bridge, Shitiping and Fanshuliao Marble Factory before reaching Hualien. Stay overnight in Hualien.

Explore the dramatic marble canyons of Taroko National Park, make a stop at Taroko Visitor Center, keep driving to Tianhsiang and take a walking tour to Hsiang-Teh temple for a wonderful view of Taroko Gorge, with a stop for coffee or tea at Silks Place Taroko before proceeding onto Taroko Gorge Gateway for a photo stop. In the afternoon, return to Taipei via the Syue-Shan Long Tunnel. Stay overnight in Taipei.
