Registration & Entry
Entry to Travel Bazaar 2026 is free; however, attendees are required to register prior to or upon entry to the Event.
Following registration, you may receive an electronic registration confirmation and/or QR code via email. Where a QR code is issued, please have this available on your mobile device or printed for scanning at the Event.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information provided during registration, including your email address and contact details, is complete and accurate.
The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the Event where reasonably necessary for security, health and safety, inappropriate behaviour, failure to comply with Event or venue requirements, or other reasonable operational grounds.
Changes, Postponement or Cancellation
The Event Organiser reserves the right to alter the Event programme, exhibitors, activities, opening hours, venue arrangements or other Event details where reasonably required.
If the Event is postponed, cancelled or materially changed, registered attendees will be notified using the contact details supplied during registration where reasonably practicable.
As entry to the Event is free, no compensation is payable in relation to cancellation, postponement or changes to the Event, except where required by law.
Privacy & Use of Personal Information
Personal information collected as part of your registration will be used to administer your registration, facilitate your attendance at Travel Bazaar and communicate important information relating to the Event.
Subject to the permissions you provide during registration, your information may also be used by House of Travel and associated entities to communicate with you about travel offers, promotions, competitions, future events, products and services.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable New Zealand privacy law and the relevant House of Travel privacy policy. Full House of Travel privacy conditions can be found here.
Exhibitor QR Code Scanning & Data Sharing
Travel Bazaar gives attendees the opportunity to connect directly with participating airlines, tourism boards, tour operators, cruise lines, travel providers and other exhibitors.
Where you voluntarily scan your registration QR code, you consent to the contact information associated with your registration being provided to that exhibitor.
Once your information has been provided to an exhibitor, that exhibitor will be responsible for its use and handling in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable privacy laws.
Your information will not be shared with an exhibitor simply because you attend the Event. You must choose to have your QR code scanned by that exhibitor.
Competitions, Prizes & Promotions
Travel Bazaar may include competitions, prize draws, giveaways and promotional activities operated by House of Travel, exhibitors, sponsors or other Event partners.
Where you choose to enter a competition or promotion, additional terms and conditions may apply.
By entering an exhibitor or third-party competition, you acknowledge that information you provide may be collected and used by the relevant competition promoter for the purposes described in that competition's terms and conditions.
Where required, consent to receive future marketing communications from a competition promoter should be obtained separately as part of the competition entry process.
Photography & Filming
Photography and filming will take place throughout Travel Bazaar.
By attending the Event, you acknowledge that you may appear incidentally in photographs, video footage or other recordings taken in public areas of the Event.
These images or recordings may be used by House of Travel for legitimate Event-related purposes, including Event coverage, internal communications and promotion of Travel Bazaar and future House of Travel events across digital, social media, print and other marketing channels.
Where an individual is the primary subject of promotional photography or filming, rather than appearing incidentally in general Event coverage, additional consent may be sought where appropriate.
Health, Safety & Security
Attendees must comply with all reasonable instructions from Auckland Showgrounds staff, security personnel and the Travel Bazaar Events Team.
Emergency exits, accessways and safety equipment must not be obstructed. In the event of an emergency, attendees must follow instructions provided by venue and Event staff. The Event's existing operational documentation also requires incidents to be reported immediately to Event management.
Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings while at the Event. While reasonable security measures will be in place, the Event Organiser is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded. The same general security approach is already reflected in the exhibitor manual.
Children & Supervision
Children attending Travel Bazaar must be appropriately supervised by a responsible adult.
Parents and caregivers remain responsible for the supervision and safety of children in their care while attending the Event.
Exhibitor Products, Services & Bookings
Travel Bazaar provides attendees with access to a range of independent exhibitors, including airlines, tourism organisations, tour operators, cruise companies and other travel-related businesses.
Any product, service, booking, quotation, promotion or agreement entered into directly with an exhibitor is subject to that exhibitor's own terms and conditions.
The inclusion of an exhibitor at Travel Bazaar does not alter the contractual relationship between an attendee and that exhibitor in relation to any purchase or booking made.
House of Travel’s Terms and Conditions will apply for any bookings made. These can be found here: https://www.houseoftravel.co.nz/house-of-travel-general-terms-and-conditions
Liability
Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under New Zealand law.
To the extent permitted by law, the Event Organiser will not be responsible for loss or damage arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control or from the acts or omissions of independent exhibitors, suppliers or other third parties participating in the Event.
General
By registering for and/or attending Travel Bazaar 2026, you confirm that:
  • the information you provide during registration is accurate;
  • you agree to comply with these terms and any reasonable Event or venue requirements;
  • you understand that separate terms may apply to competitions, promotions, exhibitor bookings and other third-party activities; and
  • where you provide marketing consent, you may withdraw that consent in accordance with the relevant privacy policy or unsubscribe process.
The Event Organiser may update these terms where reasonably required prior to the Event. The version published on the Travel Bazaar registration website at the time of the Event will apply.
