Experience Gold coast

Head to the ‘Glitter Strip’ of Surfers Paradise and see what makes this beach so famous, with beachside accommodation, a superb entertainment, dining scene and 7-day late night shopping, what’s not to love. Relax in Broadbeach, with its beautiful beaches and framed by lazy parks.

It seems a new restaurant or bar is opening every time you blink, you will be spoilt for choice with eating options to keep your belly full. Known as the theme park capital of Australia –make your way through the five theme parks on the Gold Coast, with thrill rides galore.

Beyond theme parks making the GC thrill; encounter Australian wildlife at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and hold a koala or hand feed a kangaroo, can’t get more Ozzy than that. Nature lovers head inland to Mt Tamborine, known as the ‘green behind the gold’ and experience another side of the Gold Coast. With the third oldest National Park in the world, numerous walks, lookouts, home-grown produce, spas and art galleries, there’s something for everyone.

Having said a new restaurant pops up on the blink, Gold coast is more than just a fun in the sun relaxation beach destination. Gold coast is now a world destination, possibly not a surprise to many and to many hitherto from years ago. With Sydney, Melbourne and other outstanding cities in the limelight, no other Southern Hemisphere city quite capitulates the Australian story quite like the GC. The more advanced Witches Falls winds through dense sections of tumbling rainforest, as well as the namesake waterfall and a challenging terrain of boulders and tree roots, while the Sandy Creek Circuits will test even the most surefooted tramper. For less scenery and more shopping, hit the villages. A great day out for families, you’ll find antiques, artwork, cafés and boutique shopping.
