Double Days Promotion Terms and Conditions

Eligibale Participants

1. To be an Eligible Participant, you must:

a)   be an Air New Zealand Airpoints™ member;

b)   be a resident of New Zealand, with your country of residence recorded as

“New Zealand” in your Airpoints account;

c)   register online https://www.airnzagent.co.nz/double-days#register during the Promotional Period and select either 2x Status Points or 2x Airpoints Dollars™; and

d)   make an Eligible Booking on an Eligible Flight during the Promotional Period.

Eligible Bookings and Eligible Flights

2. An Eligible Flight is:

a)  an Air New Zealand operated flight (with an Air New Zealand flight number on the ticket) on a New Zealand domestic or international route where Status Points and Airpoints Dollars are normally earned;

b)  an Air New Zealand flight operated by Wamos Air for Air New Zealand; or

c)  a qualifying partner airline flight expressly listed in clause 6 below.

3.  Flights with an NZ flight number that are not operated by Air New Zealand will not be eligible, including but not limited to flights operated by United Airlines, Singapore Airlines, or Air China, except where specifically identified as qualifying partner airline flights, as listed in clause 6 below.

4. An Eligible Booking is a new booking made during the Promotional Period for travel on an Eligible Flight.

5. Standard Air New Zealand rules and agreements relating to group bookings, entity or government bookings, and Status Points earn rate restrictions apply.

Qualifying Partner Airline Flights

 6. The following partner airline flights are Eligible Flights for the purposes of this Promotion when travel is booked on an Air New Zealand flight number.

a) Cathay Pacific flights between Auckland and Hong Kong, and Christchurch and Hong Kong;

b)  United Airlines flights between Auckland and Los Angeles, Auckland and San Francisco, and Christchurch and San Francisco; and

c) Air China flights between Auckland and Beijing.

Please note that some booking classes on Qualifying Partner Airlines may not be eligible to earn Airpoints Dollars or Status Points and will not be eligible for the Double Days promotion.

Promotional Period and Travel Period

7. The Promotion runs from 12.01am NZST on 26 March 2026 until 11.5Gpm NZST on 30 March 2026 (the Promotional Period).

8. Eligible Bookings must be for travel between 13 April 2026 and 20 March 2027 inclusive (the Travel Period).

9. Bookings made outside the Promotional Period, or for travel outside the Travel Period, will not be eligible for 2x Status Points or 2x Airpoints Dollars.

10. All dates and times are New Zealand Standard Time (NZST).

Registration and Reward Selection

11. To be eligible for this Promotion, Eligible Participants must register during the Promotional Period using the registration form on https://www.airnzagent.co.nz/double-days#register and select either:

a)      2x Status Points; or

b)     2x Airpoints Dollars.

12. Registration may be completed before or after making an Eligible Booking but must occur during the Promotional Period.

13. Eligible Participants who do not register and select a reward during the Promotional Period will be ineligible for this Promotion.

14. Eligible Participants may change their selection by re-registering at any time during the Promotional Period. Where more than one selection is registered, the selection recorded at the end of the Promotional Period will be the final selection and will apply to all Eligible Bookings made during the Promotional Period.

15. Once an Eligible Participant has registered their selection, that selection will apply to all Eligible Bookings made during the Promotional Period.

16. Air New Zealand will use reasonable endeavours to associate a registered reward selection with the relevant Airpoints member account. Air New Zealand accepts no responsibility where incorrect, incomplete or mismatched membership details are provided. In such circumstances, the booking may not qualify for the Promotion.

Airpoints™ Membership Number

17. To be eligible to earn 2x Status Points or 2x Airpoints Dollars, the Eligible Participant’s Airpoints membership number must be included in the relevant booking at time of travel.

 Booking Channels

 18. This Promotion is valid on bookings made via:

·         airnewzealand.co.nz;

·         grabaseat.co.nz;

·         the Air New Zealand contact centre; or

·         New Zealand based travel agents

Earning Status Points and Airpoints Dollars

19. “Standard Status Points” means the Status Points ordinarily earned for the

applicable route and booking class.

20. “Standard Airpoints Dollars” means the Airpoints Dollars ordinarily earned for

the applicable route and booking class.

21. Standard earn rates will be displayed during the booking process.

22. Eligible Participants will earn two times (2x) the applicable Standard Status Points or Standard Airpoints Dollars earn rate (as selected at registration) for Eligible Flights. Bonus Status Points will be credited within eight weeks of the completion of travel, and bonus Airpoints Dollars will be credited on the day of travel.

Ineligible Fares and Bookings

23. Reward Flights paid using Airpoints Dollars, bookings in Airpoints reward classes (X, I), Grabaseat F class, travel industry classes (N, R), free tickets, and prize or competition tickets are ineligible for this Promotion.

Changes and Cancellations

24. If an Eligible Booking is cancelled, the Promotion will not apply.

25. Changes to bookings will only be eligible for the Promotion where:

(a)   the original booking was made during the Promotional Period 26 March to 30 March 2026;

(b)   the revised travel dates remain within the Travel Period of 13 April 2026 and 20 March 2027 ; and

c) the new flight is an Eligible Flight operated by Air New Zealand or a

qualifying partner airline

 26. Fare rules, cancellation fees, change fees, and fare differences may apply.

Payment Fees

27. Payment by charge, credit, or debit card may incur a percentage-based fee, depending on card type.

New Deals

28. Air New Zealand may release new deals at any time.

ANZ Airpoints Visa Cardholders

29. ANZ Airpoints Visa Platinum and ANZ Visa Business Airpoints cardholders will earn:

a)      a 50% Status Points bonus based on the Standard Status Points earn rate;

b)     plus 2x Status Points based on the Standard Status Points earn rate only,

resulting in a total effective earn rate of 250% of the Standard Status Points earn rate.

2x Status Points apply only to the Standard Status Points earn and do not apply to the additional 50% bonus earned through the credit card.

New Bookings and Flight Credits

30. Only new bookings are eligible. New flight segments added to an existing passenger name record (PNR) during the Promotional Period will not be eligible. An existing PNR is a PNR booked prior to 1200am 26 March 2026.

31. Flight credit is an eligible form of payment only where the credit was issued prior to 12.01am on 26 March 2026. Any flight credit issued on or after 12.01am on 26 March 2026 (once the promotion has started) is not an eligible form of payment for this promotion.

General

32. The Promotion is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
