Iconic Sports Stadiums

America is renowned for its sports and you will visit some of the most famous sports stadiums that America has to offer and learn about the sporting history along the way. Visit Fenway Park, home to the Boston Red Sox or Yankee Stadium in New York. Finishing in Chicago, why not visit historic Wrigley Field, home to baseballs Chicago Cubs since 1914, before your departure.
 

Suggested Itinerary

Day 1: Boston arrival
After arrival at the airport, pick up your rental car and proceed to your hotel. Enjoy your evening at leisure.

Day 2: Boston
Today start off your stadium tour in Boston and visit Fenway Park, since 1912 the home of the Major League Baseball's nine-time World Series champions, the Boston Red Sox. Walking tours are offered including the famous 37-foot-tall Green Monster wall. Less than an hour outside of Boston, in Foxborough, Gillette Stadium is located. In the afternoon explore Boston, the cradle of American liberty. It is the largest city in New England and one of the oldest in the United States, founded in 1630.

Day 3: Boston - New York
Today's journey takes you to New York, the metropolis on the US East Coast. Explore this exciting city filled with people, famous sights, and skyscrapers. See the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building, and more.

Day 4: New York
The famous Yankee Stadium is located in the Bronx. Take a behind-the-scenes tour. Stop by at Stan's Sports Bar, before you head to visit Madison Square Garden sports and entertainment mecca in the heart of Manhattan. Get a true New York experience on the Madison Square Garden All Access Tour. New York is also home to the New York Mets, which play at Citi Field in the borough of Queens. Take a tour including the Mets Hall of Fame and Museum. And New York is home to two professional American football teams, the New York Giants and the New York Jets. They both play in MetLife Stadium at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in New Jersey. A guided tour allows visitors to walk on the field, to see luxury suites and the press box.

Day 5: New York - Philadelphia
A two-hour drive will get you to Philadelphia, the "City of Brotherly Love" and the birthplace of America, where the Declaration of Independence was adopted on July 4, 1776.

Day 6: Philadelphia
Your Iconic Sports Stadiums Tour will take you to Citizens Bank Park, where the Philadelphia Phillies, two-time World Series champions, play games at. Guests visiting this spectacular ballpark will enjoy an audiovisual presentation before touring the park with stops at the dugout, broadcast booth and Hall of Fame Club. On game day, taste one of Philadelphia's specialties, a cheesesteak sandwich. Philadelphia is also home to football's 2018 Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles. Tours of the team's Lincoln Financial Field include visits to the field, locker room, postgame interview room, press box, broad- cast booth and a suite.

Day 7: Philadelphia - Baltimore
Today you will drive to Baltimore. Explore Oriole Park, the home stadium of the Baltimore Orioles, three-time World Series champions. It is near the Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum, which tells the story of the legendary New York Yankees player. While touring Oriole Park, enjoy the ballpark's charm in luxury suites, the scoreboard control room and even the dugout. Baltimore's other professional team is the Baltimore Ravens, two-time football Super Bowl champions. The team plays at M&T Stadium, adjacent to Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Tours include the locker room and the field. A game-day institution in the heart of the action is Pickles Pub.

Day 8: Baltimore - Washington, D.C.
The USA's capital is about an hour drive away from Baltimore. Enjoy time visiting D.C. with such highlights as the U.S. Capitol Building, Supreme Court, the White House, Lincoln Memorial, and much more.

Day 9: Washington, D.C.
Washington, D.C. is the city, where the Washington Nationals began playing in their new stadium, Nationals Park, in 2008. It is the center-piece of the Capitol Riverfront. Tours give visitors the opportunity to throw a pitch in the bullpen, experience a luxury suite and visit the dugout. Washington, D.C. is also home to football's Washington Redskins, three-time Super Bowl champions. The team plays at FedEx Field in Maryland, about five miles east of Washington, D.C. A great place to watch a televised game is Penn's Quarter Sports Bar, three blocks from Capital One Arena, where hockey's Washington Nationals and basketball's Washington Wizards play games at.

Day 10: Washington, D.C. - Pittsburgh
Start your day early to arrive for lunch in Pittsburgh. In the afternoon visit PNC Park, which opened in 2001 along the Allegheny River near the North Shore Riverfront Park. The Pittsburgh Pirates, five-time World Series champions, play baseball games at PNC Park. Enjoy spectacular views of the Pittsburgh skyline, a 90-minute stadium tour including the dugout, batting cages, Pop's Plaza and Legacy Theater. Pittsburgh is also home to football's Steelers. Stadium tours include the FedEx Great Hall, which houses memorabilia and the Steelers Hall of Honor.

Day 11: Pittsburgh - Cleveland
Driving to Cleveland will bring you to the Great Lakes. The city of Cleveland is located right at the banks of Lake Erie. Enjoy lunch at the lake; take a walk by the water. In the evening explore downtown Cleveland.

Day 12: Cleveland
Continue your stadium tour with the two-time World Series winners, the Cleveland Indians, playing baseball at Progressive Field in the Gateway Sports and Entertainment Complex in downtown Cleveland. Behind-the-scenes tours include the dugout, batting cages, FanCave, The Corner Bar and press box. Football's Cleveland Browns play home games at FirstEnergy Stadium on the banks of Lake Erie.

Day 13: Cleveland - Chicago
Start your day early to allow for enough time to drive cross country from Lake Erie to Lake Michigan, where the city of Chicago is located. Enjoy your evening in downtown Chicago and explore the city's vibrant night life.


Day 14: Chicago
Today's highlight will be a visit to the historic Wrigley Field, home to baseball's Chicago Cubs since 1914. Tour experiences include the Cubs' dugout and field. You may pose for a photo in front of the ballpark's famous ivy wall. Across town, football's Chicago Bears play home games at Soldier Field on Lake Shore Drive next to Lake Michigan. VIP tours of the historic stadium include an on-field experience in addition to The Doughboy statue, locker rooms and colonnades from 1924. Outside the United Center, where the Chicago Bulls play basketball, see a statue of Michael Jordan, the Hall of Fame player. Chicago is also famous for its sports bars.

Day 15: Chicago Departure
Return your rental car at the airport prior to your departure.
