Gulf of Thailand Island Hopping Tour

If you want to stay off the beaten track and combine smaller tropical islands with Koh Samui, this package may have what you are looking for; many beautiful islands where the most well-known are Koh Tao, Koh Phangan and Samui. You can find either a peaceful hide away beach or all-night beach party. Koh Tao, so far from civilization while still being relatively easily reached, it is the idyllic tropical island paradise. The island is home to some of Thailand’s best, with pristine white sand, nodding palm trees and glittering blue seas. The dramatic coral landscapes, perfect for diving and snorkeling are home to color fish, turtles, reef sharks, barracudas and, if you are very lucky, whale sharks. Koh Phangan offers much more than the Full Moon parties that made it famous, stay at lively Hat Rin Beach, or explore almost un-spoilt beauty, accented by a hilly, lush tropical jungle interior, many idyllic, long white-sand beaches and visit some local communities to experience Thai island culture.

From the hustle and bustle of Chaweng Beach to the lively yet relaxed atmosphere of Lamai Beach to the timeless feel of Bophut's Fisherman's Village to the tropical beach paradise of Maenam, Koh Samui is unique among Thailand's islands in maintaining a broad appeal for everyone. And what’s best about them is they don’t experience the monsoon during rainy season from June to September that affects the Andaman coast of Thailand so it’s a great escape if you happen to travel during the summer season.

 9-nights accommodation
Private or join-in transportation as mentioned in itinerary
 Join-in boat/ferry transfers between islands
English speaking local guide service for transfer and excursions in Koh Samui

There are many choices available, most of which are accessible along the small and rather rough road network. Haad Tien Bien,  commonly known as ‘Rocky Bay’, this is one of the furthest beaches from Mae Haad, but one of the best. It has the clearest water and the cleanest beach. Virtually anywhere along the Koh Tao coast is a great spot for snorkeling, though the so-called Shark Bay of Haad Tien and around Koh Nangyuan are among the most popular. The vibrant coral reefs there are home to a wide range of exciting and colourful sea creatures. Sairee Beach, probably Koh Tao’s best-known beach, where you will find the majority of the nightlife, including beach bars and restaurants.

Be surprised by the temple's intricate designs, like the enormous white laughing Buddha statue. The giant Goddess Guanyin statue is flanked by two long halls that feature colorful murals and frescoes depicting Buddhist mythological stories.  Witness the rituals of the many devotees join alms giving to the Buddhist monks (touch and sound). The temple is surrounded by a lake, which is teeming with carps and catfish waiting to be fed. We are heading by 4x4 wheel drive to the top of Samui, called the ‘Giant Summit’, surrounded by tropical nature. Refresh yourself with a cold drink and enjoy the panoramic views of Koh Samui Island. Visit secret Buddha Garden, hidden away high in the hills in Koh Samui's interior, offering majestic views and an unusual collection of statues amid lush jungle surroundings. The gardens are a creation of an old Samui fruit farmer, Nim Thongsuk, who in 1976 began erecting several statues and temples around his family's verdant land. Secret Buddha Garden (sight) is the kind of place where each visit brings some new discoveries. With statues of all shapes and sizes scattered around the grounds, a wrong turn or a closer look behind a tree may yield yet another hidden surprise.
