Itinerary
Day 1: Catania
Today you arrive in Catania and transferred to your reserved hotel.
Then you have free time to explore Catania.

Day 2: Catania
This morning you have breakfast in your hotel. Then depart for a daily excursion to Syracuse with its white limestone, surrounded by the warm Mediterranean Sea offers a lot to see: the historical centre with the famous cathedral, built in the Greek Athena temple, the Papyrus plants in the Arethusa fountain, the narrow alleys of the former Arab quarter and the archaeological park. Return to hotel.

Day 3: Catania
Today you will discover Europe's highest active volcano, Mt Etna in the morning. The most direct way is to climb up the east slopes through vineyards and citrus groves, chestnut woods and rugged lava landscapes until you reach the station “rifugio Sapienza” at 1900 meters above sea level.
In the afternoon we visit Taormina. Taormina is a picturesque town located on the east coast of the island of Sicily, Italy. It is renowned for its stunning views, ancient ruins, and a charming medieval atmosphere, before returning to your hotel.

Day 4: Catania - Naples
Arrivederci Sicilia and Welcome to Naples. After breakfast, departure to Naples, check-in to the reserved Hotel and overnight stay in Naples.

Day 5: Naples
Today starts with breakfast in your hotel and then departure by coach to Pompei for a 2 hour visit. The day continues towards the Amalfi Coast, stopping at Positano for a photo stop and then Amalfi before heading back to your hotel in Naples.

Day 6: Naples - Rome
After breakfast, you will go on a walking tour in the old city centre of Naples. Piazza Plebiscito with explanation (outside) of the most famous buildings like the Square, Galleria Umberto and the Maschio Angioino. Tasting of Pizza Fritta. In the afternoon, you will take the train in the direction of Rome. Dinner and overnight stay in Rome.

Day 7: Rome
After breakfast you will meet the local guide and go on a walking tour of 4 hours. Visit the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. The Colosseum archaeological park includes the Flavian Amphitheatre, the area of the Roman Forum and the Palatine, the Domus Aurea on the Oppio hill, the Arch of Constantine and the Meta Sudans in the valley of Colosseum. With more than 7 million visits in 2017, the site is among the most visited in the world and the first in Italy.  Continue to Venezia square. Afterwards reach the Trevi Fountain as well as the Pantheon. The visit will ends at the Spanish square with free time before heading back to your hotel.

Day 8: Rome - Florence
After breakfast departure by train to Florence. On arrival, leave the luggage at hotel and start your visit. Have a guided tour with the local guide, including Ponte Vecchio. Built very close to the Roman crossing, the Ponte Vecchio, or Old Bridge, was the only bridge across the Arno in Florence until 1218. The current bridge was rebuilt after a flood in 1345.

Day 9: Florence - Venice
After Breakfast have a look into Santa Maria Novella church and see some other nice corners of Florence on your own. Afterwards take the train to Mestre. Check in at hotel. Pop into the city center to enjoy some shopping, a good ice cream or to dive into the local art and history! Piazza Ferretto, together with Piazza Barche and its shopping center, is the beating heart of the social life in Mestre. Here you will find the 18th century Cathedral of San Lorenzo and its gothic bell tower, the Scoletta dei Battuti and the beautiful Palazzo da Re.

Day 10: Venice - Milan
This morning you will have free time at disposal to discover the city of Venice on your own. Start your walk in direction of San Marco square, the principal public square of Venice with its buildings : Procuratie Vecchie, St. Mark’s Clocktower, Piazzetta dei leoni, Museo Correr. In the in the early afternoon, return to Mestre to take the train towards Milan. Leave the luggage at hotel and have a walk to the Piazza del Duomo. Walk through the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, designed in the 19th century and now home a huge array of upscale shops and restaurants. Visit the Cathedral, which at 157 metres long is one of the largest Catholic churches in the world. We will also visit the cathedral’s huge rooftop terrace, which afford spectacular views of the city and the cathedral’s roof sculptures.

Day 11: Milan
Take a local boat from the harbour of Stresa for a panoramic ride on the lake. The first stop will be the Isola Bella, a place of splendour thanks to the recurrent blooming and the priceless architectural treasures that blends into a wonderful microcosm. Since when it was transformed from barren rock to a blooming garden, the island appears as a galleon floating on the blue waters of the Lago Maggiore as his founder, Vitaliano VI Borromeo, meant for her. Visiting this place allows you to live a normal day of a long-gone era. Here, the baroque boldly blends with the green architectures of the garden, creating a sight for sore eyes. Visit the Palace and the Garden. Continue to Isola dei Pescatori . Short walk and free time. Back to the hotel.
