Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Colombo - Negombo
On arrival at the airport, meet your Tour Executive at the arrival lounge who will assist with the transfer to the Negombo hotel. Stay overnight in Negombo.
Day 2: Negombo - Dambulla
Today travel to Dambulla and visit the Dambulla Cave Temples, a UNESCO
World Heritage Site, some of which date as far back as the 1st century BC.
Stay two nights in Dambulla. (B,D)
Day 3: Excursion Sigiriya & Wildlife
This morning visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress and in the afternoon enjoy a wildlife safari to spot a great number of animals including elephants, reptiles, and birds at Minneriya National Park. (B, D)
Day 4: Dambulla - Kandy
Today travel to Kandy, en-route visit a Spice Garden to see how they are
grown and learn about Ayurvedic medicine. In the evening visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and enjoy a cultural dance show in the theatre. Stay overnight in Kandy. (B,D)
Day 5: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
Enjoy a scenic drive to Nuwara Eliya also known as the little England of Sri Lanka. Enroute Visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden. Stay two nights in Nuwara Eliya. (B,D)
Day 6: Ceylon Tea Gardens
Leave for Nuwara Eliya, known as ‘Little England,’ of Sri Lanka. In the afternoon visit a Tea Plantation and factory to observe the process of turning green leaf into the finished tea. (B, D)
Day 7: Nuwara Eliya - Yala
After a leisurely breakfast travel to Yala, famous for the elusive leopard.
Get ready for the Evening jeep safari, home to a large variety of elephants,
birds, reptiles, and if your lucky also spot leopards. Stay overnight in Yala.(B, D)
Day 8: Yala - Bentota
Morning travel to a beach resort, enroute visit Galle and enjoy a guided
walk-through of Galle’s historic 17C Dutch Fort a UNESCO World Heritage
Site. Say two nights in Bentota.(B, D)
Day 9: Bentota
Day at leisure to relax by the ocean or explore on your own. (B, D)
Day 10: Colombo Departure
The tour finishes after breakfast with a direct transfer to Colombo airport to board your onward flight home. (B)
