Where I've Been

Favourite Holidays

Northern Territory

The stunning Katherine Gorge in the Northern Territory, beautiful scenery on the the Nabilil Sunset Dinner Cruise.

Petronas Towers Kuala Lumpur

What a fantastic view from the bar at the Traders Hotel !

Cancun, Mexico

Dinner in Cancun in a local restaurant, loved the entertainment!

After a week in Cancun I had a few days in Havana.  An interesting place to visit, so different to anywhere else I have been !

12 nights in Phuket at the Radisson Plaza Resort Panwa Beach - what a lovely relaxing fun time we had!  Also, just for something a bit different we went on a 2 day Elephant Hills Jungle Safari  (a luxury tented jungle camp).  We enjoyed washing & feeding the Elephants, canoed down the Sok River & explored the jungle.  Great change of scene from the beach & pool !

USA Holiday

In October I spent a month touring the USA.  I visited San Francisco & Washington, travelled by rail to New York and Niagara Falls, and drove to
Wisconsin & Minnesota, stopping over in Las Vegas on the way home.
What a huge and varied Country, so much to see and do !

European River Cruise

Last year I went on a European River Cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest.
What a great way to travel !  I loved the scenery along the river, the cycling & walking tours,  the Viennese Concert, relaxing on my balcony after a full day sightseeing and so much more !

I have just returned from a fabulous week in Japan.  Japan is a very clean and tidy country to visit, and the people were very polite and respectful.   My highlight was Hakone where we enjoyed the scenery, countryside and authentic Japanese culture.
