Where I've Been

Favourite Holidays

Bali & Sydney - November 2018

My last trip was a combination of cultural sightseeing in Bali, and catching up with a friend in Sydney on the way back. I love my 2 holidays for 1 trip, making use of a scheduled stopover to do something fun!
I split my 4 nights in Bali, with 3 nights in the stunning Ubud, plus 1 night in Sanur beach - staying just off the beaten path allowed me to immerse myself the culture  & relax at the same time. What an amazing trip!

Denarau, Fiji - 9 -11 March 2019

Bula! Have you considered Fiji for a weekend break?
As soon as you get off the plane in Fiji, you know you are on holiday! From the wonderful friendly greeting at the airport, a taste of Fiji cooking class, or a quad bike adventure on arrival; to beach walks, swimming, & cocktails at sunset......beautiful Fiji always delivers!

UK & Europe - August 2019

Having just returned from a wonderful 3 weeks in Europe, visiting family & friends in Edinburgh and London, I wished to share the highlights:
* Edinburgh Fringe Festival & the Edinburgh Military Tattoo
* The Shard - London's tallest building
* Eurostar to Paris - so much easier than flying as it takes you from central London to the centre of Paris in only 2 hours!
* Paris itself was wonderful, & getting around a delight - so many amazing, iconic places to cram into my 2 days!
* Malta, a new destination for me - so much history, wonderful medieval villages, friendly locals, great food, & practically guaranteed sunshine and hot weather during the New Zealand winter - what's not to love?!
Perfect place to visit if you have previously enjoyed Dubrovnik, & are looking for somewhere new. Or you may be interested in a European cruise? Malta is not just a port of call, some cruise start &/or finish here too. Either way, Malta is worth considering for a few days in any European itinerary.
For any further information on any of the above, email, give me a call, or even drop in to the store & I'll be happy to assist you with your holiday plans.

Perth, Adelaide & South Australia - October 2019

Perth has a buzzing city scene, beaches, Margaret River, Quokkas on Rottnest Island, Freemantle, and the Swan Valley all within easy reach. Add in a few extra days of "me" time if visiting family, or even add in as a stopover on way to South Africa, Asia, or Europe.

Adelaide & South Australia as a region has so much to offer, especially as it is not so well known to Kiwis.
At just under 5 hours flying time from Auckland, Adelaide is very accessible for a long weekend, romantic getaway, friends trip, or family holiday. It is the perfect gateway to any number of different activities, whether it be wine
tasting, wildlife, walking, or an Outback Adventure, to name just a few. That doesn’t even touch on the city itself, with it’s wonderful beaches, vibrant
restaurants & bar scene, everywhere within an easy drive, or even walking
Try the Adelaide Oval Roof Climb, if you are a foodie or love wine visit the Clare Valley, travel up to the quirky Coober Pedy, & take a scenic flight over Wilpena Pound to fully experience the stunning scenery of South Australia!
