Why ME?

I just love travel but most of all, I love to share my knowledge of travel. My expertise would be South America and Europe where I worked as a tour director - visiting the same European cities time and time again.

Where I've Been

Favourite Holidays

NYC - The Best City

After years of dreaming and seeing this phenominal city in my mind and on the TV and in books, I finally visited her and she did not disappoint.  She is colourful and loud, she is that freind you want to be like and hang around all the time.  I ticked off so many bucket-list items, such as, visiting MoMA and the MET, as well as seeing the Flat Iron building, Central Station, going to the top of the Empire State building and visiting inside the Crown of the Statue of Liberty.  But one of my greatest memories was a trip to Tiffany & Co. - the original.

New Caladonia

Not only does New Caladonia ooze French Influence, but there is also a small town charm to this baguette shaped island in the South Pacific.  The water is completely transparent, so if you love snorkelling or scuba diving then the water conditions are perfect.  This is a great island to visit for couples wanting a romatic getaway or a group of friends wanting to sun-worship during the day and party at night.

Samoa - One for the girls

My girlfriends and I traveled to Samoa to celebrate a very big collective birthday together.
I loved the people, the temperature and lazing around all day by the pool or the sea.  Upolu is small enough to drive around in a day and visit the waterfalls, mountains and other resorts.  We spend a day with a private chef who took us to Savaii and shared some of the tastiest and fresh food I've ever eaten.  My heart was happy.

Laos Famil

I had always dreamed of going to Laos and I was fortunate enough to be invited on a famil there in 2017.  Laos is laid-back and unassuming. The people are so friendly and happy - in spite of their very sad, recent history.  My highlight would have been visiting the COPE Museum in Vientiane.  This is a war memorial museum which displays films and art pieces showing the history of bombing of Laos during the Vietnam War, but most importantly this is a rehibilation centre for victims of landmines.
