Fiji - Coral Coast and Blue Lagoon Cruise

Had lovely time with a rental car driving around the Coral Coast after my conference staying at the Shangri La.
The Shangri La is very large with nice lagoon swimming , golf course and adults only area.
I loved the feel of the Outrigger, it was very welcoming and had a 'Fiji look' to it with the bures scattered aroung. There is a adults only pool and bar and is popular with families too. If you go here you MUST visit the day sap - AMAZING!!!
We then did the 4 night Blue Lagoon cruise out in the Yasawas. What a stunning area. Only a maximum of about 60 guests on board and although the boat isn't 5 star the service and destination is. Highly recommend this for a couples getaway.

Rarotonga

A week with family and friends staying at the Muri Beachcomber. Fabulous well appointed self catering rooms and a great location. Had a great time and loved Rarotonga although the roosters could be a bit quieter.

Family holiday to Niue

Wow fantastically clear water making it great for snorkelling, diving and exploring. You need a rental car here to go out and explore the island. Pull up to a sea track, walk on down and find you own crystal clear swimming hole all to yourself. An amazing place with a relaxed attitude but don’t except white sandy beaches. Remember to pack your snorkel.

Sir Lanka - the country for variety

Sri Lanka seemed to tick all the boxes when we were looking for a family experience - culture, animals and beaches. Not only did it tick all the boxes it totally exceeded our expectations. Friendly people, fantastic food, varied scenery, amazing animals, I could go on for hours.
A wonderful destination for any age - highly recommend

Intreipd Vietnam

2 weeks travelling round with 5 other familes on an Intrepid family trip was great way to see the country. We made life long friends with the other familes and Vietnam itself was great. My faourite was Hoi An old city. THh colourful laterns and peace of the traffic free area makes it something special.

USA Road trip

After doing Disneyland and Universal Studios in LA plus a night watching ice hockey (now I don't like watching sport but what an exciting night). we hit the road in our hire car.
Going through the National Parks and seeing the scenery of Joshua Tree National Park, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Zion National Park, Death Valley, Mammoth Mountains and Yosemite was amazing and with a stop at the glitzy Las Vegas we got to San Francisco. What a neat city here with lovely buildings in the central area and athenice relaxed tourist friendly Fishermans Wharf. Loved the retro looking street cars and so easy to get around.
My husband didn't find it too hard driving on the wrong side of the road but be aware sometimes the GPS couldn't find us so it was back to the old fashioned way of map reading.
A great trip with too many highlights to mention, I totally recommend it!

New Caledonia

Feel like going to France but can’t afford the time? With New Caledonia only being 2 1/2 hours away and everyone speaking French it is easy to imagine you are in the South of France soaking up some fine wine and food. I feel it is great couples getaway.

Japan

Such a clean, organized country. I loved Tokyo where I spent 5 nights exploring and getting my head around the train system. The walking Urban Adventures tour we did gave us a good insight behind the scenes of culture and shopping. The Robot Restaurant / show is bright, loud and fun.
when then used our rail pass to travel to Taka Yama and stayed in a traditional Ryokan. This is an unique experience and I highly recommend.
From here we trained to Kyoto and spent 3 nights here. Very different and not as ordered as Kyoko. once again the Urban Adventures night tour lanes and arcade is well worth it!
We were there in November and the Autumn colours were beautiful.

Hawaii

Had a quick 4 night break to Hawaii in May with my husband. It was a great getaway. My highlight was driving round the Island in a convertible and swimming with the dolphins

Samoa

Colourful and tasty are the two first words that spring to mind if asked to discribe Samoa. Plenty of small intimate resorts to choose from if you are looking for a romantic getaway and some fabulour family friendly options also. The food was fantasitc, the snorkelling good, sea sparkling blue and the island was so colourful.Put it on your list of places to go.

Melbourne with friends

Melbourne is great long weekend destination to meet up with frineds. Great shopping and plenty of options for eating and drinking. If you have a sweet tooth make sure you head to Ackland St to try some of the amazing cakes.

Air New Zealand sky coach and business class

What a luxury to be able to spread out when flying.
Sky coach works best when you have 3 seats between the 2 of you but these seats have a foot rest and this can go up for a foot rest or convert to a flat bed that you can snuggle up together in.
Business class is heaven - lie flat and attentive service. What more can you ask for on an overnight flight!
