I visited Bali as part of an educational trip, the great thing about this is i got to sample not only Kuta but Seminyak, Legion, Sanur, Tanjung Benoa, Nusa Dua and the beautiful Ubud which is a must see on any trip to Bali. Bali really has it all, good beaches, a rich culture, great food, shopping, tranquility, wildlife and amazing people. Great location for couples and family's. I visited many hotels over there so if you want to know more about Bali come and speak with me! Ubud was my favorite location though - amongst the rice paddies, monkey forest and the lovely art and tranquility that Ubud has to offer. Villas are a great way for larger families or groups as you have your own space, often own pool and can have someone come in and cook breakfast for you in your villa!
My honeymoon to Tahiti is one of the highlights of my travels so far! We spent 2 nights on the mainland in Papeete, which is great to experience the markets, eat crepes at Les Roulettes food trucks on a Friday night...but then head out to the islands. Moorea was just a short ferry ride away and hosts great snorkeling, swimming with manta rays and reef sharks, amazing resorts and different accommodation options. I was lucky enough to also visit Bora Bora, an outer island, i have to say this hosted the most amazing variations of blues/greens i have ever seen in the water, it is stunning! Its a once in a life time experience well worth the extra dollars. I also went on a separate trip to Tahiti through work so have also seen many of the hotels so can recommend the right one for you!
This has to be one of my favourite places in the world! I have been 3 times and there is still parts of it i have not uncovered yet! With it being the most western of the asian countries its extremely clean and safe. I have been here for work twice and had a family holiday on Sentosa island. "Slappy cakes" is a must for breakfast! You can visit universal Studios, "Candylicious" a huge sweet shop, visit the night safari at the famous Singapore Zoo, eat amazing food and shop up a storm! Singapore is great for a stopover on the way somewhere else or for a holiday in its own right.
After having travelled through India and Bhutan i decided i want to then take my family on a similar holiday however with an 8 Year old girl in Tow thought Sri Lanka might be the destination! We Loved it! We had a private guide so it was just the 3 of us, we saw Elephants and many other animals in the national parks on our game drives, climbed the famous Sigiriya Rock. Ate amazing food! This destination truly has it all! Great for families too!
Having lived in Edinburgh for over 3 years this city is dear to my heart - one of the most beautiful cities in the world in my opinion. We recently went back there and journeyed up to the Highlands - Loch ness, Glencoe, and you really feel like you are on the edge of the world with a visit to Isle of Skye. The scenery is breathtaking, the terrain easy to navigate and self drive and the history is so captivating. Try a pie form the famous "Skye Pie Cafe". You must try some Haggis while there and visit a local quaint pub and sit and watch the world go by! Come and see me to help get the very best our of your trip to Scotland.
