I took a small group tour from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City.
Beijing with the Great wall
Xian and the Terracotta Warriors.
We were on a small group tour for 7 days and were shown the highlights or these 2 cities. A great stopover option to do on the way to Europe.
Wow what an amazing place to see - you have shopping, indoor skiing, water parks, the Old Town, Culture, the new town with super skyscrapers. A place where you do as much or as little as you like.
This is my favourite destination so far - Cuba offers old charm and rustic feel. I travelled around on a bicylce which gives you a different perspective of a country - as you travel through the towns/villages you smell all the smells and see the local people going about their daily work - biking gives the opportunity to stop and start when you want to.
Home to see the family for a Wedding and a Christening.

HOT Top 20 Awards Trip - Tokyo for 5 nights
I visited Tokyo this year and the city blew me away – with ultra-modern mixed in with the traditional it is a city full of exciting things to do and see. The food was amazing and such a variety of tastes – sushi was obviously eaten most days!!
We were entertained one night by some wonderful Geisha Girls – this is a definite must – so amazing.
Japan was not really on my list of places to visit but now after seeing Tokyo I have a want to go back and explore more of the cities and towns that the country has to offer. It is such a fascinating country.
Also this year I was lucky enough to head back to the UK to hang out with family and friends. While there I took a week’s holiday to Malta with the family – there was 5 adults and 3 children. The resort we stayed in was all-inclusive and catered for everyone – we were after easy, simple travel with the need not to have to go and find restaurants etc. Malta has so much to offer - you will find prehistoric temples, fossil-studded cliffs, hidden coves, thrilling scuba diving and a history of remarkable intensity.
It was easy to get around on their public transport and the beaches were wonderful – sandy with lovely clear swimming. A definite must if you are wanting a week of relaxation.
