Harmony of The Seas, Royal Caribbean, March 2017
This was my first cruise and I wasn't sure what to expect as "Harmony of the Seas" is the largest cruise ship in the world with around five thousand passenger capacity.
But to my surprise it was so well maintained and not crowded at all. Our cruise manager was amazing at organizing activities such as: Broadway type shows, Aqua-shows, Art Auctioning, Comedy nights and you could also try yourself at Ice-skating, Rock climbing, Latino nights, Karaoke, Zip-lining, and so much more.
All food on board was super delicious and fresh. I have checked specialty restaurants such as: Jamie's Italian, Wonderland and 150 Central Park and loved the experience but honestly the food on board was so great that you could save your money if you are on budget. For specialty restaurants you are just paying the entry fee which can be around NZ$40.00 per person and order 8-10 course meal which is totally worse it!
If you have teenagers or husband who eats a lot of food cruise is a great option as all your food is paid and you can eat as much as you want. On the other hand if you are worried about your weight I suggest you stick with menus rather than all you can eat buffet!
If you have never been on the cruise I suggest you give it a try, its a whole new experience and you don't know if you like cruising until you do.
