Where I've Been

Favourite Holidays

Oman - November, 2010

Oman is my favourite place in the world to travel – stunning scenery – sand dunes and giant sea turtles and Bedouin camps and peaceful.Floating down the rivers through a canyon into the wadi – it’s the only Gulf State to have its own natural water. The people are really friendly and want to share their history and culture. I loved it !!!

Cruising the Caribbean

One of those things on the bucket list - the Caribbean!! I was lucky enough to be invited to cruise the Caribbean with MSC - joined the MSC Divina in Miami and headed out. We went to Jamaica and Cayman Island and Cozumel Mexico and the Bahamas. So cool to wake up and you are in a different port with different adventures.
So much to see and do or not and the beauty is that your hotel and food and entertainment go with you - too easy.
So if its on your bucket list then give me a call - it was AMAZING!!

Hola Argentina

I travelled to Buenos Aires and Iguazu Falls April 2016 - OMG amazing!!
the falls were truly breathtaking and BA is the Paris of South America - steaks to die for not to mention great Malbec wine - and great value.

London and Paris - October, 2012

I spent 4 days in London and 5 in Paris – lots of hotels and making our way around by Tube and Metro and foot – Eurostar is fantastic 2 ½ hours from central London to central Paris effortless!!! Both full of history and sights and easy to get around – great little restaurants to tell you about and the ease of using a Travel card or Visite pass to get you from place to place.

Port Douglas September 2013

I just got back from an amazing two weeks in Port Douglas. Its an hours drive north of Cairns and is a great destination. Fantastic little village with an eclectic mix of shops and cafes and restaurants.
Most accommodation is apartment style so you can easily self cater as there is a great Coles supermarket plus eat out.
It caters for all ranges from families to friends to couples - gorgeous long beach and plenty to do or not to do. Its on the Great Barrier Reef so you can pick from any number of day cruises - there's the Mossman Gorge and the rainforest and a crocodile park or just sit by the pool and soak up the sun with a book.
Best time to go - our winter or August / September.
Perfect relax!!!

Myanmar - September 2015

This country is just opening up and we got a look at some amazing places - Yangon and the Shewdagon pagoda - then up to Bagan and the hundreds of temples big and small dotted through the countryside - up to Mandalay and the 18th century bridge and river communities before my favourite place Inle Lake. Whole villages on the water and 9000 acres of gardens floating on the lake surface - amazing !!!

Sunny Samoa

I had a week's stop and drop holiday with my partner Paul in Samoa in August 2017 - perfect !!! It is green and colourful and hot. The locals all smile - the food is great - fresh fish and lobster !!! As much to do or as little to do as you want.
We stayed at Return to Paradise - it had everything we wanted and one of the best beaches to flop down on - we're definitely going back !!
