Enjoy a Swiss Experience with this Grand Tour of Switzerland. Bringing together 1,280km of panoramic railways, this is an epic journey that whisks you through towns and villages, over mountains and past glaciers, lakes and rivers. The Swiss Travel pass lets you discover the whole of Switzerland on one ticket with access to trains, buses, boats, mountain railways and city transport. Leaving you to hop on and off to explore whenever you like – there are many attractions and excursions along the tour routes.

Day 1: Swiss Airport or Border town - Interlaken via Lucerne. 
In Lucerne, enjoy town squares, churches and steamships on Lake Lucerne. Then take the beautiful GoldenPass Line over the Brünig Pass to Interlaken. 

Day 2: Excursion to Jungfraujoch
Top of Europe round trip to experience an ice wonderland accessed through the highest altitude railway station in Europe.

Day 3: Interlaken – Montreux
Travel through the scenic Simme Valley to Montreux on Lake Geneva 

Day 4: Montreux – Martigny – Zermatt
Travel to Martigny -- the gateway to Great St Bernard and Forclaz Pass. Continue on via Visp to Zermatt.

Day 5: Zermatt
Enjoy the day exploring Zermatt and it’s surroundings. You could travel on the Gornergrat, one of Europe’s highest open-air cog railways. 

Day 6: Zermatt – St Moritz
This legendary stretch includes a ride on the Glacier Express on a 7 1/2 hour rail journey.

Day 7: St Moritz
Explore this alpine village for the day where you can enjoy traditional hiking, mountain biking or a carriage ride around the lake.

Day 8: St Moritz – Lugano
Two routes lead to Lugano in Switzerland's sunny south. In summer, choose the Bernina Express train to Tirano, then bus to Lugano. 

Day 9: Lugano – Lucerne
Few things will take your breath away like the newly opened 57km tunnel Gotthard Panorama Express. Combining rail and waterway travel, this 5 hour trip starts with scenic rail before connecting to a spectacular 2.5 hour Lake Lucerne steamer boat ride. 

Day 10: Lucerne
Transfer from Lucerne to any Swiss airport or bordertown.


NOTE: Seat reservations are compulsory on some sectors and subject to availability. Seat reservation fees are not included in the package price and start from $30 per person, per sector with the exact price advised upon confirmation.

The Gotthard Panorama Express operates Tuesday - Sunday from 21 Apr - 14 Oct, 2018. The Gotthard Panorama Express does not operate on Mondays due to train maintenance. Alternate transport can be taken when the Gotthard Panorama Express isn't operating.

A non-refundable 15% deposit is required before hotel accommodation will be confirmed, with full balance payable 30 days prior to departure.
