Itinerary
Day 1: Glasgow Arrival & Loch Katrine Cruise 

Tour begins 3:00 PM, Drymen hotel. Embark on a steamboat cruise on Loch Katrine. Enjoy a welcome drink with your group before dinner. (D) 
 
Day 2: Isle of Bute & Mount Stuart House 

Ferry to the Isle of Bute for a guided tour of Mount Stuart House. Enjoy free time Rothesay, the main town on the island. (B, D) 
 
Day 3: Loch Lomond & Eilean Donan Castle 
Travel alongside Loch Lomond, renowned for its unsurpassed beauty. Journey through Glen Coe, one of Scotland’s most beautiful places. Visit the Eilean Donan Castle before heading to your family-owned hotel near Kyle of Lochalsh. (B, D) 
 
Day 4: Isle of Skye & Dunvegan Castle 
Explore the Isle of Skye. Tour the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland -- Dunvegan Castle. Browse picturesque Portree with its brightly-painted houses clustered around the bay. (B, D) 
 
Day 5: Inverewe Gardens & Ullapool 

Head to Inverewe Gardens where a haven of trees and shrubs was created from 50 acres of bleak headland in 1862. Continue to Ullapool, an active fishing and ferry port. (B, D) 
 
Day 6: Highland Scenery & Isle of Orkney 

Admire the stunning scenery of the northern Highlands. Continue to John O’Groats, the most northern place on the British mainland and ferry to the Isles of Orkney with dinner on board. (B, D) 
 
Day 7: Orkney Sights & Skara Brae 
Discover the Isles of Orkney. Visit the tiny Italian Chapel, and Skara Brae, a 5,000-year-old village with remains of dwellings. Enjoy leisure time and independent dining in Kirkwall. (B) 
 
Day 8: Dunrobin Castle & Inverness 
Ferry back to the mainland and head to Dunrobin Castle, the largest mansion in northern Scotland. Continue south to Inverness, the principal town in the Highlands. (B, D) 
 
Day 9: Urquhart Castle & Culloden Battlefield 
Cruise on Loch Ness to the Urquhart Castle. Visit Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre. Return to Inverness for free time. (B, D) 
 
Day 10: Sheep Herding & Whisky Tasting 

Immerse yourself in farm life and watch a sheep herding demonstration. See how whisky is distilled and enjoy a tasting at Blair Athol Distillery. Head to Edinburgh for a festive Scottish evening. (B, D) 
 
Day 11: Edinburgh Castle & City Tour 
Discover Edinburgh. Tour Edinburgh Castle. The afternoon and evening are free. On July 28 to August 13 departures enjoy the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle. (B) 
 
Day 12: Tour Ends 
Tour ends after breakfast.
