Wed 20 May Zagreb – Trakoščan – Zagreb
  Today, discover Zagreb with your local guide taking in the historic parts of the city, including Ban Jelačić Square and medieval settlements of radec and Kaptol. See the Cathedral, Dolac Market, Tkalčićeva Street, Stone Gate and St Mark's Church. Proceed through the castle region to Trakoščan, the Castle often described as being one of the most beautiful in Europe. This evening, enjoy a traditional meal at a local restaurant. (B,D)
 Thu 21 May Zagreb – Ljubljana
  Depart for the Slovenian capital city of Ljubljana. On arrival, a local guide will join us to show us the highlights of this stunning city. This city with a soul features the Baroque Old Town nestled at the foot of Castle Hill, the Art Nouveau mansions and masterpieces of the renowned architect Jože Plečnik. Later enjoy a funicular ride to Ljubljana Castle. Time at leisure before enjoying dinner at your hotel. (B,D)
 Fri 22 May  Ljubljana – Bled – Ljubljana

An excursion to Bled today including entrance to the Old Town and Pletna boat ride. Lake Bled, together with its surroundings, ranks among the most beautiful alpine resorts. This pearl of Slovenia and the whole Alpine region, with a tiny island and St Mary's Church in the middle of the lake, and the old medieval castle up on the cliff won't disappoint when it comes to enchanting views and fairy-tale beauty. Following a lunch in Bled, you'll visit a local beekeeper and honey producer to learn about the local beekeeping traditions and honey tasting. (B,L,T)
Sat 23 May Ljubljana – Postojna Caves – Predjama – Momjan – Bale
  Depart for Bale via the Postojna Caves, one of the world's largest karst monuments. For 140 years train journeys have been taking visitors through the caves to see the spectacular underground subterranean world. Photo stop in Predjama Castle before arriving to the small village of Momjan for an afternoon at an award-winning winery. Enjoy dinner at the hotel this evening. (B,T,D)
Sun 24 May Bale – Pula – Rovinj – Bale
  Today we travel to Pula. See the Pula Arena the sixth largest amphitheatre in the world, the Temple of Augustus and the Arch of Sergii. Continue to Rovinj one of the most romantic seaside villages on the Mediterranean, with cobbled streets, picturesque buildings and squares to take your breath away. Enjoy lunch in this romantic town before returning to Bale for the rest of the day at leisure. (B,L)
Mon 25 May Bale – Poreč – Motovun – Bale
  Travel to Poreč, home to the UNESCO World Heritage-site Euphrasius Basillica from the 6th century AD. The apse of the Basilica is ornately decorated with figural mosaics noted as one of the most remarkable examples of mosaic art in Europe. Later proceed to the gorgeous hilltop town of Motovun, possibly the most picturesque medieval town of inner Istria. Continue to lunch where you will experience a famous Istrian delicacy of truffles. Remainder of the day is at leisure. (B,T,L)
Tue 26 May Bale – Opatija – Plitvice Lakes
  Set off this morning to Plitvice Lakes National Park with a stop at Opatija, one of the most popular seaside resort on the Adriatic and often referred to as Croatia's Monte Carlo. This little town was once the playground of the Austro-Hungarian nobility who had their summer palaces here and was home to the first casino in Europe. Now many of these palaces are the stunning historical hotels you see today. (B,D)
Wed 27 May Plitvice Lakes – Zadar
  Today explore the National Park. The Plitvice Lakes are Croatia's most popular tourist attraction. The beauty lies in its sixteen lakes, interconnected by a series of waterfalls, set in deep woodland populated by deer, bears, wolves, boars and rare bird species. Enjoy a packed lunch before departing for Zadar where the rest of your day is at leisure. (B,L,D)
Thu 28 May Zadar
  This morning you will join a local guide for a walking tour of Zadar, one of the most charming old Dalmatian cities dating back to Roman times. Steeped in history, see the Roman Forum, St Donatus Church, the reconstructed Romanesque St Grisigono's Church, St Mary's Bell Tower and St Anastasia Cathedral. Take a stroll along its beautiful promenade Sea Organ and Greetings to the Sun, a sound and light spectacle and an award-winning architectural space. The remainder of the day is at leisure. This evening we will have dinner at a local Dalmatian restaurant. (B,D)
Fri 29 May Zadar – Šibenik – Trogir – Split
  Depart Zadar and travel along the Dalmatian coastline where the first stop is Šibenik. Discover the oldest Croatian city on the Adriatic and Croatia's most beautiful monument St James Cathedral. Continue to Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage protected historic stone town which is often described as an open-air museum. See the Cathedral of St Lawrence and the beautiful Kamerlengo Tower. This evening you may wish to dine at a local restaurant followed by a walk on the Split Riva. (B)
Sat 30 May Split
  Transfer to Split Port to embark the luxurious MS Markan. After settling in, enjoy a guided tour of Split, a historic town under UNESCO protection and part of the World Heritage with an abundance of Roman architecture. Of special interest here is the magnificent Diocletian Palace, once inhabited by the Roman Emperor. After the tour, return to the ship for a welcome meet and greet cocktail reception onboard. Overnight in Split. (B,D)
Sun 31 May Split – Bol – Hvar
  Swim at the most famous beach in Croatia, Zlatni Rat near Bol on the Island of Brač. Lunch is onboard at the Pakleni Islands, near the Island of Hvar. Hvar is the longest and sunniest island in the Adriatic famous for its lavender and scenic beauty. Enjoy a presentation of lavender products and a tour of the town's historical landmarks - the Renaissance Cathedral with its original tower and the oldest community theatre in Europe. Take a walk to the Spanish Fortress overlooking the harbour for lovely scenic views. This evening explore Hvar with its numerous restaurants, bars and cafés open long into the night. (B,L)
Mon 01 Jun Hvar – Biševo (Blue Cave) – Vis
  Cruise towards Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. Visits to the caves are a special charm. Try some exquisite wine in one of the Vis traditional wineries. If interested, visit the remains of the Roman thermal place, city museum or simply take a walk enjoying the views of the beautiful Villae Rusticae situated along the waterfront. (B,L,T)
Tue 02 Jun Vis - Korčula
  Cruise towards Korčula the birthplace of Marco Polo. Lunch is in a secluded bay en-route. Afternoon arrival followed by a guided walking tour of this enchanting medieval coastal town. A fish bone street-pattern design was used in Korčula Old Town to reduce effects of wind and sun and provide citizens with sheltered and comfortable accommodation. There are many wonderful restaurants to choose as well as bars and clubs for those looking for evening entertainment. Optional excursion to small village near Korčula for real local experience where you will enjoy dinner and hear about history and local life. (B,L)
 Wed 03 Jun Korčula – Mljet 
  Continue to the Island of Mljet. The legend says Greek hero Odysseus spent years on this island when he was captured by the nymph Calypso. Join the Cruise Director for a stroll to the famous saltwater lakes in the National Park and enjoy a boat ride to St Mary Isle to visit an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey and a church from the 12th century. Alternatively, you can rent kayaks, bicycles, scooters or convertible cars to roam around the National Park or island. Dinner onboard and overnight in Polača or Pomena. (B,L,D)
 Thu 04 Jun Mljet – Ston – Slano
  Depart to Slano a peaceful fishermen's village and the starting point of Ston, another once fortified small town, famous for its oysters. After exploring the town's medieval ramparts, a short coastal walk leads us to an oyster farm to learn more about oysters and tasting this delicious treat. Transfer to the ship for Captain's farewell dinner with entertainment and music. (B,L,T,D)
 Fri 05 Jun Slano – Dubrovnik
  The charm of Dubrovnik are the buildings that have remained from the time of the old Dubrovnik Republic. Enjoy a lunch cruise along the Dubrovnik City Walls before docking in Gruž Port. Transfer to the Old Town for a guided walking tour. Take the cable car from the Old Town to Mount Srđ to enjoy scenic views of the walls and Elaphiti Islands. For those with more enthusiasm we recommend a walk along the city walls. (B,L)
 Sat 06 Jun Perast – Kotor – Budva
  After disembarkation, we depart to Montenegro. Visit Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks Islet. Then continue to Kotor. Visit of the town, followed by free time for lunch. Then proceed to Budva for a visit of the pearl of Montenegrin tourism, thanks to the great number of beaches and hotels that make this a most desirable tourist destination in Montenegro. After the visit, return to Dubrovnik. (B,D)
 Sun 07 Jun Dubrovnik 
  Today is at leisure to explore the beautiful "Pearl of the Adriatic". If time permits, take a walk along the old medieval ramparts (it'll take you approximately 2 hours to do a full circle) and be transported into a different time zone or enjoy a day relaxing by the pool or beach. This evening we will have a farewell dinner. (B,D)

Terms and Conditions

Pricing is in New Zealand dollars and is correct as at 30 June 2019 and include return economy class airfares from Auckland as specified on each itinerary. Departures from other domestic NZ airports are an additional cost. All package pricing is based on twin share, inside cabin with additional prices for other cabin types as shown on each package. Single requests are subject to availability at the time of booking. Prices may vary due to exchange rates, are indicative only and subject to change until paid in full. Prices shown are for payment by cash, debit card or cheque only. A service fee may apply for credit card transactions.

Not included:
Visas, travel insurance, shore excursions, beverages, optional activities and items of a personal nature.

Deposits and final payments:
A non-refundable deposit of $2000 per person is required within 7 days of booking. Final payments are due 120 days prior to departure. Bookings received within 120 days of departure will only be processed on receipt of full payment. Note a full confirmation will not be available until a copy of your passport and deposit payment has been received.

The full name as shown in the passport must match the details provided for your booking.

Any changes to a confirmed booking must be notified in writing. An amendment fee of $250 per change applies, plus any charges passed on by suppliers. Amendments within 120 days of departure are subject to full cancellation fees.

Cancellations and refunds:
All cancellations must be notified in writing and assessed based on the date received.
Cancelled bookings will be charged as follows:-

- More than 120 days prior to departure, loss of deposit

- From 120-90 days before departure 50%

- Less than 90 days before departure 100%

Cancellation charges may also be applied by the airlines, and if any refunds apply, these will be made to you once received from the airline.

It is mandatory for all travellers to be adequately insured for the full duration on the holiday. We strongly recommend that travel insurance is purchased at the time of booking and payment of deposit.

Passports & Visas:
Passports must be valid for 6 months after your scheduled return to New Zealand. It is your responsibility to have a valid passport, together with any visas, re-entry permits and health checks as required to meet the regulations of the countries visited. Your House of Travel consultant can assist in ensuring you meet all government requirements.

Health and Fitness:
Walking tours are an important part of each package and a good standard of health is required with the ability to walk on sometimes uneven surfaces and negotiate stairs. To ensure the safety and comfort of all travellers, you must advise in writing at the time of booking if you will require medical or professional treatment during the journey or if you will require special care or assistance.

Changes to itinerary:
Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, may require changes to a package and we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel an itinerary at our discretion. Travel dates and transit points are based on airline schedules available at the time of printing. If airlines change their schedules altering an itinerary, the necessary changes will be made. All cruise lines reserve the right to change ports of call at any time, either before or during the cruise.

Documents will be dispatched via your House of Travel consultant after full payment has been received and at least two weeks prior to departure.
