Salta & The Northwest

For an amazing trip in Argentina…just add Salta! Argentina’s Northwest is one of the most scenic areas of the country, with a pre-Columbian and colonial past, a region of wine and stunning landscapes. Spectacular gorges are interspersed by quaint towns with cobblestone streets, colonial architecture and adobe houses. Salta at the heart of the region, and your base for this 3-night itinerary, is the most well-preserved colonial city in the country. From here there are archaeological sites, subtropical forests and desert canyons to explore.
