✔ 2 nights Alice Springs
✔ 2 nights Kings Canyon
✔ 5 days Hertz rental car hire (Group A)
Day 1: Alice Springs
Right in the heart of Australia lies Alice Springs, surrounded by dirt and
hauntingly beautiful mountain ranges.
Day 2: Alice Springs
Time to explore the city of arts and events – a city known to locals as ‘Alice’. The Old Telegraph Station, Aviation Museum and the original Royal Flying Doctor Service are iconic Alice Springs attractions definitely worth visiting.
Day 3: Alice Springs – Kings Canyon (474km)
Travel along Luritja Road to reach Kings Canyon. Dine under the stars at
Kings Canyon Resort and there is always the option of taking a helicopter
flight over Watarrka National Park.
Day 4: Kings Canyon
Dust off your hiking boots and rise before the heat and watch the sun come up from the top of Kings Canyon. Allow at least four hours to tackle the challenging 6 kilometre Kings Canyon Rim Walk which offers spectacular views of the gorge and surrounding landscape below.
Day 5: Kings Canyon – Uluru (321km)
Travel to Yulara and see the world’s greatest monolith, Uluru and the domes of Kata Tjuta. Do some exploring, perhaps a walk into the majestic Waipa Gorge before dropping off your vehicle or simply extend your rental car hire as you spend more time in Uluru and learn more about the region’s history and unique flora and fauna.
