Sat 23 May Seville (Cádiz), Spain
  Cádiz is an ancient city port in the Andalucia region of southwestern Spain. It has more than 100 watchtowers, including the iconic Torre Tavira, which was traditionally used for spotting ships. On the waterfront is the domed 18th century Cádiz Cathedral featuring baroque and neoclassical elements. The best way to see the locals going about their day, a visit to the Cádiz market is a must. Its location on the Atlantic gives it Spain’s freshest fish and seafood. Check out the many excursions* available to venture further afield. (B,L,D)

  Perhaps visit the Apes Den to view the Barbary Apes, believed to have travelled ages ago from North America. Or take the drive of more than 365 meters up the Rock of Gibraltar along narrow roads dug out to support the British troops. (B,L,D)
Tue 26 May Bale – Opatija – Plitvice Lakes
  Set off this morning to Plitvice Lakes National Park with a stop at Opatija, one of the most popular seaside resort on the Adriatic and often referred to as Croatia's Monte Carlo. This little town was once the playground of the Austro-Hungarian nobility who had their summer palaces here and was home to the first casino in Europe. Now many of these palaces are the stunning historical hotels you see today. (B,D)

Tue 26 May Sète, France
  A popular option from this port is an excursion* to the UNESCO World Heritage-site of Carcassonne, home to one of the world’s most fascinating medieval citadels. Settled as early as the 6th century B.C. Carcassonne later became a significant Roman town. In the 4th century is was fortified and became a strategic site in the Middle Ages during the Crusades. Other options are available or you might choose to wander through the fascinating small town of Sète. (B,L,D)
Wed 27 May Provence (Toulon), France
  Access to numerous historical and interesting places is available from this port. Perhaps visit Marseilles; the inspiring town of Aix-en-Provence with its 101 fountains; the small seaside resort of Cassis or the renowned resort town of St. Tropez. Toulon itself also boasts charming streets and squares if you prefer to wander at your leisure. (B,L,D)
Thu 28 May Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), Italy
  The port of La Spezia is the gateway to Florence and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. A selection of options* are available for a tour to Florence or Pisa individually or combine both destinations to get the best of both worlds. (B L,D)
Fri 29 May Ajaccio, Corsica
  Ajaccio is the capital of Corsica, a port city on the rugged isle’s western coast of this French island. It was the birthplace of French Emperor Napoléon Bonaparte in 1769. His ancestral home, Maison Bonaparte, is now a museum displaying family heirlooms. The baroque 16th century Notre Dame Cathedral where Napoléon was baptised, contains paintings from old masters.   Disembark the ship this morning and transfer from the port of Civitavecchia to central Rome and our hotel for the next two nights. Early evening, enjoy an informal reception with your fellow travellers on the roof terrace of your hotel with cocktails and canapés. (B)
Sun 31 May Rome
  Start the day with a walking tour of this fascinating city with an expert local guide. Highlights include the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, Roman Forum, Trajan’s Column and the Trevi Fountain. Your afternoon is at leisure for independent sightseeing and shopping. (B)
Mon 01 Jun Rome – Castelnuovo
  Depart the ‘Eternal City’ after breakfast, leaving the city behind as we head
north into Umbria, often called the country’s green heart and known for its medieval towns and dense forests. We’ll stop and enjoy time in Orvieto and Montepulciano, two of the most famous and picturesque medieval towns  of the region. The journey ends today in the Chianti region of Tuscany for an overnight stay. (B, D)
Fri 05 Jun St. Moritz – Zermatt
  Returning to St. Moritz railway station this morning you board the famous Glacier Express for the journey to Zermatt. Billed as Europe’s slowest express train, it’s a narrow gauge train which takes about 8 hours to cover approximately 290 kilometres at an average speed of around 40 kilometres per hour. The route takes you through the three canyons of Valais, Uri and Graubünden, with the huge panoramic side windows and glass skylights offering spectacular views of the beautiful Swiss mountain scenery. A 3-course lunch is served onboard to complete this relaxing journey. On arrival in Zermatt, walk the short distance from the rail station to your hotel for the next two nights.   Today you will take the Open-Air cogwheel train from Zermatt GGB to Gornergrat. Enjoy time at the Gornergrat to admire the wonderful views of the valley and of the mighty Matterhorn, probably the most famous mountain in Switzerland. On return to Zermatt, enjoy time at your leisure to explore this lovely car-free town at you own pace. (B)
Sun 07 Jun Zermatt – Zurich
  Depart Zermatt to continue the journey to Zurich by train. On arrival you’ll be met by a local English-speaking guide for a leisurely walking tour of the Old Town. Zurich is rich in heritage and the rail station is located in the Old Town so a perfect place to start a tour of this fascinating, historic area. Medieval houses, contorted narrow lanes, guild and town halls from the Renaissance period offer a living history of characteristic buildings and the people that lived there. End the tour at your hotel. (Note: your luggage will be transported to the hotel). Reminder of the day is at your leisure. (B,D)
Mon 08 Jun Depart Zurich
  Time at leisure before transferring to the airport for return flight. Late checkout from the hotel has been arranged before departing from the hotel early evening. (B)

Terms and Conditions

Pricing is in New Zealand dollars and is correct as at 30 June 2019 and include return economy class airfares from Auckland as specified on each itinerary. Departures from other domestic NZ airports are an additional cost. All package pricing is based on twin share, inside cabin with additional prices for other cabin types as shown on each package. Single requests are subject to availability at the time of booking. Prices may vary due to exchange rates, are indicative only and subject to change until paid in full. Prices shown are for payment by cash, debit card or cheque only. A service fee may apply for credit card transactions.

Not included:
Visas, travel insurance, shore excursions, beverages, optional activities and items of a personal nature.

Deposits and final payments:
A non-refundable deposit of $2000 per person is required within 7 days of booking. Final payments are due 120 days prior to departure. Bookings received within 120 days of departure will only be processed on receipt of full payment. Note a full confirmation will not be available until a copy of your passport and deposit payment has been received.

The full name as shown in the passport must match the details provided for your booking.

Any changes to a confirmed booking must be notified in writing. An amendment fee of $250 per change applies, plus any charges passed on by suppliers. Amendments within 120 days of departure are subject to full cancellation fees.

Cancellations and refunds:
All cancellations must be notified in writing and assessed based on the date received.
Cancelled bookings will be charged as follows:-

- More than 120 days prior to departure, loss of deposit

- From 120-90 days before departure 50%

- Less than 90 days before departure 100%

Cancellation charges may also be applied by the airlines, and if any refunds apply, these will be made to you once received from the airline.

It is mandatory for all travellers to be adequately insured for the full duration on the holiday. We strongly recommend that travel insurance is purchased at the time of booking and payment of deposit.

Passports & Visas:
Passports must be valid for 6 months after your scheduled return to New Zealand. It is your responsibility to have a valid passport, together with any visas, re-entry permits and health checks as required to meet the regulations of the countries visited. Your House of Travel consultant can assist in ensuring you meet all government requirements.

Health and Fitness:
Walking tours are an important part of each package and a good standard of health is required with the ability to walk on sometimes uneven surfaces and negotiate stairs. To ensure the safety and comfort of all travellers, you must advise in writing at the time of booking if you will require medical or professional treatment during the journey or if you will require special care or assistance.

Changes to itinerary:
Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, may require changes to a package and we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel an itinerary at our discretion. Travel dates and transit points are based on airline schedules available at the time of printing. If airlines change their schedules altering an itinerary, the necessary changes will be made. All cruise lines reserve the right to change ports of call at any time, either before or during the cruise.

Documents will be dispatched via your House of Travel consultant after full payment has been received and at least two weeks prior to departure.
