  Join a local guide for a walking tour of Copenhagen, starting by exploring the lively canal district around Nyhavn. Cross the bridge to Christianshavn to enjoy the impressive buildings from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries to modern architectural landmarks. See Kings Square, Amalienborg Palace, Opera House, Christiansborg Palace and more. Coffee and pastry stop included in your tour. Remainder of day at leisure. (B)

  The morning at leisure before transferring to the port to board Island Princess early afternoon. Join fellow travellers for dinner as we set sail on this spectacular cruise. (B,D)
Fri 10 Jul Fredericia, Denmark

Nestled in the south-eastern part of Denmark’s Jutland Peninsula, the port of Fredericia offers easy access to many of the top attractions including the stately 450-year-old Egeskov Castle, a museum dedicated to children’s author Hans Christian Andersen and Ribe Viking Centre, an open-air museum. No matter how you choose to spend the time here, be sure to take a photo with the Foot Soldier Statue commemorating the town’s military importance, as it stands guard to the main entrance to the city.   Norway’s fifth largest city founded in 1641 as a market town, together with the surrounding countryside, boasts the sunniest weather in Norway. Wander the city at your leisure or take an excursion* to visit one of the many attractions like the historic Oddernes Church, the oldest Romanesque-style church in Norway built between 1100 and 1150 or the Agder Nature Museum and Botanical Garden, founded in 1828 is one of the oldest natural history museums in Norway with a diverse array of botanical species. This quaint town perched on the North Sea  is renowned as the site where Viking King Harald Hȃrfagre united Norway as a kingdom in the 9th century. Mon 13 Jul Alesund, Norway 
  One of the prettiest ports in Norway at the entrance of the spectacular Geirangerfjord, Alesund is home to buildings with elegant turrets and spires lining the streets of the city centre. Alesund is also one of Norway’s most important fishing harbours and the world’s largest supplier of stockfish (klippfisk) - dried cod. The major attractions are the surrounding fjords and the stunning Sunnmore Alps. (B,L,D)
Tue 14 Jul Shetland Islands (Lerwick), Scotland
   The Shetlands are the most northerly of the British Isles and consist of over one hundred islands, of which a mere 16 are inhabited. Lerwick is the capital of the archipelago located on the eastern shore of the mainland. The town was largely developed by Dutch herring fishermen in the 17th century and is renowned for their superb crafts ranging from woollen and cashmere knitwear to intricate lace shawls and fine jewellery.   The gateway to the wild an isolated scenery of the Eastern Fjords. In myth, these narrow bays and towering mountains were once home to trolls, elves and ogres. Wander through the township boasting a wealth of wellpreserved 19th century homes and buildings. (B,L,D)
Fri 17 Jul Akureyri, Iceland
  Gateway to the famous ‘Land of Fire and Ice’ – Iceland’s dramatic landscape of volcanic craters, extinct lava lakes and majestic waterfalls. Lying just below the Arctic Circle, the climate is surprisingly temperate and you’ll see flower boxes in windows of houses and trees lining the welltended avenues. Thanks to the mild climate, the Botanical Gardens provide a home to over 2000 species of flora from around the world – all surviving without greenhouses! (B,L,D

Approaching Holyhead from the sea, your first image is of towering cliffs rearing above the waves. Natural beauty abounds on the island of Angelsey, the northernmost part of Wales. Although Angelsey has a long and turbulent history, today Holyhead and Angelsey are your gateway to Wales, a land with strong and proud Celtic tradition and with some of the most beautiful countryside in the British Isles. Wed 22 Jul Cornwall (Falmouth), England
  This gem of the Cornish coast boasts the jewel in Cornwall’s crown, St. Michael’s Mount. Built following the Norman conquest of 1066, invaders named this ancient island after their own Mont St. Michel and invited Normandy’s monks to build another similar monastery here. Leave some time to shop for a memento in the harbour boutiques and to stroll the lovely seaside town of Marazion, just down the causeway. (B,L,D)

  Following breakfast onboard, we disembark Island Princess and transfer by coach to London and our hotel for two nights overlooking the River Thames and close to Trafalgar Square. (B)
Fri 24 Jul London sightseeing
  Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of London today with a professional Blue Badge Guide. Weather permitting, begin on foot through Whitehall passing 10 Downing Street to Westminster; see Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey, then take a stroll through St. James’ Park to watch the famous Changing of the Guard ceremony outside Buckingham Palace. Embark on an audio-guided tour of Buckingham Palace’s lavish State Apartments before continuing by coach for the rest of the tour. Highlights include Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, City of London and St. Paul’s Cathedral, Tower of London, the Southbank and Trafalgar Square, before returning to the hotel early afternoon. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B)

Terms and Conditions

Pricing:
Pricing is in New Zealand dollars and is correct as at 30 June 2019 and include return economy class airfares from Auckland as specified on each itinerary. Departures from other domestic NZ airports are an additional cost. All package pricing is based on twin share, inside cabin with additional prices for other cabin types as shown on each package. Single requests are subject to availability at the time of booking. Prices may vary due to exchange rates, are indicative only and subject to change until paid in full. Prices shown are for payment by cash, debit card or cheque only. A service fee may apply for credit card transactions.

Not included:
Visas, travel insurance, shore excursions, beverages, optional activities and items of a personal nature.

Deposits and final payments:
A non-refundable deposit of $2000 per person is required within 7 days of booking. Final payments are due 120 days prior to departure. Bookings received within 120 days of departure will only be processed on receipt of full payment. Note a full confirmation will not be available until a copy of your passport and deposit payment has been received.
The full name as shown in the passport must match the details provided for your booking.

Amendments:
Any changes to a confirmed booking must be notified in writing. An amendment fee of $250 per change applies, plus any charges passed on by suppliers. Amendments within 120 days of departure are subject to full cancellation fees.

Cancellations and refunds:
All cancellations must be notified in writing and assessed based on the date received.
Cancelled bookings will be charged as follows:-

- More than 120 days prior to departure, loss of deposit

- From 120-90 days before departure 50%

- Less than 90 days before departure 100%

Cancellation charges may also be applied by the airlines, and if any refunds apply, these will be made to you once received from the airline.

Insurance:
It is mandatory for all travellers to be adequately insured for the full duration on the holiday. We strongly recommend that travel insurance is purchased at the time of booking and payment of deposit.

Passports & Visas:
Passports must be valid for 6 months after your scheduled return to New Zealand. It is your responsibility to have a valid passport, together with any visas, re-entry permits and health checks as required to meet the regulations of the countries visited. Your House of Travel consultant can assist in ensuring you meet all government requirements.

Health and Fitness:
Walking tours are an important part of each package and a good standard of health is required with the ability to walk on sometimes uneven surfaces and negotiate stairs. To ensure the safety and comfort of all travellers, you must advise in writing at the time of booking if you will require medical or professional treatment during the journey or if you will require special care or assistance.

Changes to itinerary:
Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, may require changes to a package and we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel an itinerary at our discretion. Travel dates and transit points are based on airline schedules available at the time of printing. If airlines change their schedules altering an itinerary, the necessary changes will be made. All cruise lines reserve the right to change ports of call at any time, either before or during the cruise.

Documentation:
Documents will be dispatched via your House of Travel consultant after full payment has been received and at least two weeks prior to departure.
