Banff itself isn’t a ski resort, but there are three fantastic resorts within 40 minutes of town. These resorts include Sunshine Ski Resort, Lake Louise Ski Resort and Mt Norquay, each offering terrain suitable for all riding styles and abilities.
Within the town itself you will find many restaurants and bars that range from grab and go to fine dining. Banff also has a great shopping and a lively après scene to help unwind after a day skiing.
Jasper is an alpine town in the Alberta province of Canada. It is the main town in the Jasper National Park and the park has many mountains, glacier-fed lakes and rivers.
Winter activities include the standard skiing and snowboarding, but also dogsledding tours, ice-climbing of waterfalls, and bike tours. Wildlife viewing is also very popular. We recommend the Jasper SkyTram which takes you to an elevation of 2,263 metres, and provides amazing views!
