Itinerary
Day One: Hobart 
The beauty of Hobart can be best experienced from the water on a harbour cruise.  You can also cruise to Peppermint Bay for lunch or the Museum of old and New Art (MONA).  A range of walking and coach tours is another way to experience Hobart and learn about its fascinating history.  
Overnight: Hadley’s Orient Hotel, Hobart 

Day Two: Hobart – Queenstown 
Depart Hobart for the West Coast town of Queenstown. Stop along the way at the historic town of New Norfolk or visit Mt Field National Park and walk to the impressive Russell Falls.
Overnight: Penghana Bed & Breakfast, Queenstown

Day Three: Queenstown
Join the West Coast Wilderness Railway, taking you through the stunning wilderness between Queenstown and Strahan or alternatively drive to Strahan and take a cruise onboard a luxury catamaran which will take you into the Gordon River World Heritage area.
Overnight: Penghana Bed & Breakfast, Queenstown

Day Four: Queenstown – Devonport (Via Cradle Mountain)
Venture through the small towns of Rosebery and Tullah where the rugged west coast gives way to the sub-alpine forests of Cradle Mountain. Purchase a National Parks Pass and catch the complimentary shuttle bus to Dove Lake for the perfect photo opportunity.  Head North from Cradle Mountain to Sheffield ‘The Town of Murals’ before heading to Devonport for the night.

Day Five: Devonport - Launceston

Follow the Cradle to Coast Tasting Trail on route to Launceston stopping along the way for sweet treats, fresh produce, fine wines and ales or other delicious delights. Experience the heritage and charm of Launceston city before visiting an award-winning restaurant, the historic Boags Brewery or the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery, the largest regional museum in Australia.

Day Six: Launceston
Explore Launceston’s Cataract Gorge, an oasis in the city. Join Tamar River Cruises and experience the beauty of the region from the water and finish the day by following the Tamar Valley Wine Route and sample some of Tasmania’s finest cool climate wines.

Day Seven: Launceston – Hobart (via the Heritage Highway)
Just out of Launceston at Relbia you will find the award-winning Josef Chromy Winery, Restaurant and Cellar Door. Stop and take a tour, enjoy lunch or purchase some of Tasmania’s best wines. Take the Heritage Highway to Hobart and stop along the way at historic homesteads and convict-built villages. You can even detour from the highway and visit the oldest golf course in the southern hemisphere.

Day Eight: Hobart
Visit the historic town of Richmond, just outside Hobart, home to Australia’s oldest bridge and goal. Head off towards the Tasman Peninsula and Port Arthur where you can join a guided tour of the Historic Site. While the area also make sure to explore the natural phenomena’s – the Blow Hole, Tasman Arch and Devil’s Kitchen.

Day Nine: Depart Hobart
Before departing today drive to the summit of kunanyi/Mt Wellington and watch a spectacular sunrise. Explore Hobart’s waterfront, Salamanca art galleries and craft shops or take in an exhibition at the Tasmanian Museum & Art Gallery.
