Cairns

Itinerary
Day 1: Cairns – Port Douglas (68km)
Start your journey north on one of the most scenic coastal roads in Australia. Experience the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and visit the small town of Kuranda. Continue north to the resort town of Port Douglas, be sure to head to the local pub for a schooner.

Day 2-3: Port Douglas – Cape Tribulation (85km)
To get a true perspective of the magnificent Daintree Rainforest a visit to
the Environmental Centre is a must. Cross the river with your vehicle and
continue north to Cape Tribulation which is at the end of a sealed road,
35 kilometres north of the ferry crossing. Relax for the night in this remote
ecotourism retreat.

Day 4: Cape Tribulation – Mission Beach (279km)
Head off early on the inland road to Mount Molloy sitting atop a plateau
1000 metres above sea level. Travel across the Tablelands to Mareeba and
Atherton and on to Mission Beach

Day 5: Mission Beach
Spend a day relaxing or visit nearby Paronella Park, a crumbling Spanish
castle at Mena Creek.

Day 6: Mission Beach - Cairns (139km)
Leisurely make your way back to Cairns.

Day 7: Cairns
Enjoy the laid back tropical city of Cairns or hop on a boat to experience
the Great Barrier Reef.
