Day 1: Perth
The perfect introduction to Perth is the view of its iconic cityscape from one of the largest inner-city parks in the world – Kings Park and Botanic Garden. Only a 25 minute walk from the centre of Perth or a 10 minute drive. Spend the afternoon indulging in some retail therapy and don’t forget Perth also has award-winning restaurants whom plate up the finest fresh local produce with premium wines.
Day 2: Perth – Dunsborough (251km)
Head south and you’ll reach Bunbury – gateway to the South West within
2 hours. Take a rest at this port stop before your 75 minute drive to
Dunsborough. On arrival, head up the cape to a string of breath-taking
white-sand beaches – Meelup Beach, Eagle Bay and Bunker Bay. Head
to nearby Sugarloaf Rock for an Indian Ocean sunset before returning to
Day 3: Dunsborough – Margaret River (47km)
Breakfast in Dunsborough before browsing art galleries and boutiques.
Continue south on Scenic Caves Road and take your pick from the region’s
many fine wineries and breweries for a leisurely lunch.
Day 4: Margaret River
Margaret River region is known globally for its wine, beaches and sense of
adventure all tucked away in Australia’s south-west corner. Visit exquisite
caves, adventurous walks and trails, welcoming locals, divine cuisine and
award-winning wine in nearly every direction.
Day 5: Margaret River – Perth (265km)
Enjoy breakfast in Margaret River town, browse the high street for arts and
crafts, fashion and foodie treats before you start your drive back to Perth.
