Day 1: Melbourne – Yarra Valley/Dandenong Ranges (51km)
Enjoy the easy drive from Melbourne to the Yarra Valley. Start your day with cellar door drop-ins at some of Australia’s most famous wineries between Coldstream and Yarra Glen. Stop in at the Chocolaterie at Yarra Glen for a sweet treat before being treated to a feast for your eyes at TarraWarra Museum of Art en route to Healesville.
Day 2: Yarra Valley/Dandenong Ranges – Phillip Island (147km)
Take the scenic route through the hidden villages, gardens and orchards of
the Dandenong Ranges towards Belgrave. On Phillip Island, experience a
host of wildlife encounters including a cruise out to Seal Rocks for a fur seal meet up. Overnight in Phillip Island.
Day 3: Phillip Island – Mornington Peninsula (108km)
Drive over the bridge from Phillip Island to San Remo then around Western Port Bay to Mornington Peninsula. Head to Arthur’s Seat, the highest point on the Mornington Peninsula. Visit the historic town of Flinders then drive to Cape Schanck National Park where kangaroos roam freely.
Day 4: Mornington Peninsula – Geelong/The Bellarine (144km)
Explore Port Phillip Bay – the entrance to Australia’s busiest port. Port Phillip is made up of over 16 bays. If time permits, cruise across Port Phillip Bay to Geelong and The Bellarine!
Day 5: Geelong/The Bellarine – Melbourne (76km)
Say farewell to Geelong and head to Melbourne city.
