Adelaide is a colourful city surrounded by parklands, history and rich in great food and wine. So, make sure to make time to explore what this city has to offer. Day 2: Adelaide to Hawker The day begins with a leisurely drive northwards travelling along amazing Spencer Gulf. Once in Port Augusta, take a self-guided tour through the Wadlata Outback Centre’s, "Tunnel of Time". This is a must before visiting the Flinders Ranges & Outback. Here you will be transported back to where the dinosaurs roamed the land, be introduced to the people who first owned, explored, and settled the land and those who still live there today. Day 3: Port Augusta to Hawker Continuing north you reach the town of Hawker, the hub of the Flinders Ranges. For the next two nights will be tucked away in a scheduled Villa with some of the best views around. After checking in, why not take a dip in pool, go on a walk and at night take advantage of the stunning night sky! Day 3: Flinders Ranges Today is all about exploring the spectacular scenery, wildlife, and geology of the Flinders Ranges National Park. As part of the tour, you have the chance to join the underground tour of the Blinman Heritage Mine followed by lunch at the Blinman Hotel. Day 4: Flinders Ranges to Barossa Valley Journeying back south you will spend the next two nights in the renowned wine-producing region Barossa Valley. Discover some of the world’s most acclaimed vineyards including Penfolds, Jacobs Creek, Seppeltsfield and many more. Fancy yourself as a sweet tooth? Make sure to stop by The Barossa Chocolate Company, which boasts artisan chocolate and ice cream.
