Day 1: Beijing
Arrive in Beijing where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2-3: Beijing 
During your Beijing stay, highlights will include the Great Wall and Ming Tombs, the Sacred Way, a Peking Duck dinner, Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace.
Day 4-5: Beijing – Xian 
Take a bullet train to the ancient capital of Xian where you will visit the fascinating Terracotta Warrior Museum, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and enjoy a Tang Dynasty show.
Day 6: Xian – Chongqing 
Fly to Chongqing where you will visit Ciqikou, a historic Song dynasty town with traditional style buildings before boarding your Yangtze River Cruise.
Day 7-8: Yangtze River Cruise 
Continue your cruise on the mighty Yangtze River with scenic stops along the way.
Day 9: Yichang – Shanghai 
Disembark and catch a high-speed train to Shanghai.
Day 10: Shanghai 
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing including the sublime Yu Gardens, the Jade Buddha Temple, a walk along the famed Nanjing Road, the Bund with its iconic skyline and the Pudong area.
Day 11-12: Shanghai – Suzhou 
Head to the delightful water town of Suzhou, known throughout China as the Venice of the East where you will visit the celebrated 12th century Garden of the Master of Fishing Nets, considered to be one of the best preserved in the city.
Day 13: Suzhou – Hangzhou 
Transfer to Hangzhou where you will enjoy a cruise on the West Lake, surrounded by serene pagoda topped hills, and heavenly temples.
Day 14: Hangzhou – Guilin 
Today, fly to Guilin. The otherworldly mountains and stunning landscape around Guilin provide a magical backdrop to a truly beautiful city set alongside the Li River.
Day 15: Guilin
Enjoy the beautiful scenery with a leisurely cruise along the Li River to Yangshuo. In Yangshuo, enjoy time at leisure before a transfer back to Guilin late afternoon. 
Day 16: Guilin
Today, visit the Reed Flute Cave, an impressive grotto of stalactites and stalagmites, whose name derives from the profusion of reeds at the cave’s opening. Later, transfer to the airport where tour arrangements end.
