Angkor Cycling Experience

Offering an interesting and different way to experience Angkor, cycle beneath towering fig trees amid a thousand years of Khmer history. Explore the many varied temples of Angkor and soak up the atmosphere of Cambodian country life while journeying through the lanes and roads bordering these ancient complexes.

Day 1: Siem Reap

Arrive in Siem Reap and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is spent at leisure. 

Day 2: Siem Reap Ride 30km
This morning, you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to the bike depot for a bike fitting and safety briefing. Ride to the Angkor Temple complex visiting the key temples. Enjoy lunch before exploring the grandest temple of them all Angkor Wat. This evening, we’ll enjoy a beautiful sunset in the Angkor Park and return to our hotel by transfer.

Day 3: Siem Reap Ride 57km
Leaving Siem Reap by bike we strike out for the countryside passing many local villages and schools. Stop for lunch and take a short 3km trek to Kbal Spean. Here we can see ancient riverbed carvings of Hindu gods in the “River of 1,000 Lingas”. Transfer to Banteay Srei the gem of the Angkor area known for its exquisite bas relief carvings. Afterward, transfer back to your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 4: Siem Reap Ride 35km
After breakfast we leave the crowds behind and head towards the floating village and submerged forest of Kampong Phluk. We enjoy a boat tour around the village, between trees breaking through the water surface and soak in the culture of living life on the water. We’ll eat lunch at a local house before we get back on solid ground. Transfer to the village of Roulous, home to some of the earliest permanent structures built by the Khmers. Transfer back to Siem Reap.

Day 5: Siem Reap (B)
Enjoy free time at leisure until your transfer back to Siem Reap Airport where tour arrangements end.
