Day 1: Seattle Arrival
Explore Seattle with its unique attractions.  The Seattle Center is the perfect place to begin your trip.  It was the site of the 1962 World's Fair. Explore the MoPOP Museum with its roots in rock ‘n roll where you’ll learn about Seattle’s musical past and present. Nearby, travel 158 metres above the city and gaze in all directions at breath-taking indoor & outdoor views from Seattle’s Space Needle Observation Deck. Take advantage of free telescopes, colourful displays and enjoy lunch at the world-famous revolving restaurant, SkyCity.  Located just beneath the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass traces the art and career of world-renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly. The centerpiece of Chihuly Garden and Glass is the magnificent Glasshouse.

Day 2: Seattle
Today embark on your Seattle Coffee Culture Tour. The tour begins at the Jimi Hendrix statue, paying homage to the Seattle native and his significant musical contributions. Here you’ll meet your local guide who will show you around Seattle’s vibrant and busy Capitol Hill neighbourhood. Along the way, we’ll pop into local cafes and coffee shops to sample different brews. Here we’ll learn about the history of our favourite caffeinated beverages as well as more unique and special offerings. We’ll also learn about coffee production and roasting techniques. You may get to try anything from infused coffee to a decadent espresso invented in Seattle. Coffee standards are high in Seattle, so you can expect to visit a range of locally owned spots that take pride in what they do, with beans hand selected from some of the best roasters in the country. While you’re getting caffeinated and educated on everything from single origin to sustainable brews, you’ll also learn about Capitol Hill, one of the city’s coolest neighbourhoods.

Day 3: Seattle - Snoqualmie - Wenatchee

Pick up your rental car and drive to the magnificent 270-foot Snoqualmie Falls, one of Washington’s premier attractions. There are hiking trails, a gift shop and observation deck to capture your interest. The waterfalls are the star attraction. After exploring and taking photos, stop in the 1950s-style Candy Factory and Café for a delicious burger and old-fashioned shake with hand-crafted candy for dessert!
Stevens Pass Greenway runs through two National Forests in the North Cascades Mountain Range. Enjoy rivers, lakes, hiking, mountain-climbing, scenic outlooks, campgrounds and winter recreation. The Upper Sky Valley section leads towards the watershed, passing through half a dozen attractive small towns. Skykomish, is an historic railroad town and close to the Iron Goat Trail on the railway route used for 35 years until the Cascade Tunnel was opened in 1929..
Beyond Steven’s Pass ski area lies Leavenworth, a Bavarian themed town, most famous for its exciting festival line-up which includes Christmas Lighting Festival, Leavenworth Oktoberfest and Mai-Fest, Alefest, and Autumn Leaf Festival. Choose from more than 50 restaurants for dinner before driving the short distance to Wenatchee for the night.

Day 4: Wenatchee - Winthrop
Wenatchee, dubbed the “Apple Capital of the World,” is home to the Pybus Public Market housed in a meticulously restored steel warehouse. Snack your way through the market before tracing the Columbia north to Lake Chelan.
Lake Chelan is a narrow body of water, 50 miles long, that snakes into the North Cascades, which is renowned as a favourite freshwater recreational area for boating, fishing and swimming. Its surrounding valley is ripe with farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, boasting farm markets and stellar wineries. Enjoy a taste treat; detour to Blueberry Hills Farm for their fresh-baked pie.
Follow Highway 20 into the Methow Valley through scenic farmlands with glimpses of jagged mountain peaks. Stop for a walk-about in tiny Twisp and bask in a sweet treat from the Cinnamon Twisp Bakery. Fifteen minutes further north and you’ll arrive in the old-west town of Winthrop.

Day 5: Winthrop - Everett - Seattle
Returning to Winthrop and continuing north-west, the North Cascades National Park boasts more than 300 glaciers and is often aptly named the “American Alps”. Craggy mountain peaks, glistening glaciers, pristine forests, cascading waterfalls and sea green lakes give you stunning wilderness views from your scenic drive. As the road turns south, great walls of granite swing upward and the massive bulk of 7,600-foot Liberty Bell Mountain looms ahead, appearing to block your passage. But, at the last moment, the highway bends and clambers up the face of Liberty Bell. The viewpoint at the top is mind-blowing. Overlooks above teal-hued Ross Lake and jade-coloured Diablo Lake are ideal picnic spots with outstanding vantage points.
Stop at the North Cascades National Park Visitor Centre in Newhalem providing exhibits and maps. Next on Route 20 you’ll enter the 1.7-million-acre Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest Preserve.
Heading west down the Skagit Valley completes Washington’s Cascade Loop Scenic Highway. Close to Everett, prepare for take-off with a 90-minute tour of the Boeing Factory and the Future of Flight offering the only publicly available opportunity to tour a commercial jet assembly plant in North America. Allow enough time for shopping in the Boeing gift shop which is chock-full of fascinating items.
At the end of the day, return 30 miles south to Seattle for the night.

Day 6: Seattle
Back in Seattle, tour the historic Pike Place Market where you’ll appreciate the quality workmanship of several hundred craftspeople with more than 200 unique shops and services. For a true taste of the town, try one of Seattle’s foodie tours.
Visit the Seattle Aquarium on Pier 59. Meet live sea stars and anemones in the touch pools. Walk through the underwater dome surrounded by 400,000 gallons of water giving you a 360-degree view of Puget Sound’s sea life. Take a spin on the Seattle Great Wheel for more spectacular vistas.  Walk to Pioneer Square, a richly historic place known for its Renaissance Revival architecture, art walks, night life, delicious lunch spots, and quirky boutiques. Explore the depth and beauty of Seattle’s first historic district and jump on the Underground Tour to visualize Seattle as it was 120 years ago. Visit the Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park an indoor site with the incredible story of human struggles to reach the gold fields.

Day 7: Seattle Departure
Perhaps a visit to the Pacific Science Center or Chinatown-International District before moving on to your next destination.
