Into the Wilds of Borneo

Come along on our first voyage as we sail Coral Geographer from Singapore to Makassar, passing through the islands in the Java Sea. During this 16-night journey, you will encounter rare wildlife and plants in the wild, explore powerful rivers carved through lush rainforest jungles, and learn about the cultural customs of distinctive coastal communities. Explore the verdant rainforest of Bako National Park and get up close and personal with rare species like the tree-dwelling proboscis monkeys. Travel along the Sekonyer River's ink-black waters to reach Camp Leakey, an orangutan sanctuary and conservation center. Visit the Banjarmasin floating markets, where vendors and buyers conduct business on the water as sampans filled to the brim with fresh food. The river is a vibrant kaleidoscope of sights and sounds.
