Nice

Nice

Nice is a hub of year-round liveliness. The mainly pedestrianised centre is easily walkable, with busy French bistros spilling from its lanes. Discover the palm-lined promenade by bike or Segway, or climb Castle Hill for the best views of the sea, city and port. Vieux Nice (the Old Town) is bursting with markets, restaurants and bars, while Rue Bonaparte makes for a nice distraction with its boutiques and delicious patisseries, as well as the former dwellings of a young Napoléon.
