Viti Levu is Fiji’s main island and has gorgeous resorts we love dotted all over the island. This section of Viti Levu Surrounds gives us the opportunity to showcase more resorts in various locations that we know you’ll love.
In the north, Suncoast is lined with pristine beaches, turquoise lagoons, dramatic peaks, rolling hills and scattered islands. It’s a beautiful part of Fiji that takes you away from mainstream Fiji and forces you to relax, explore and be one with the beautiful surroundings this coast has to offer.
Pacific Harbour, located on the southern coast, is the adventure capital of Fiji – from zip lining to white water rafting and island trekking. Pacific Harbour is also the main gateway to the famous shark dive at Beqa Lagoon. In addition to this, Pacific Harbour offers a prime selection of accommodation to suit all tastes.
Vuda, on the western side of Fiji is only 20 minutes drive north of Nadi and is Fiji’s yachting hub offering a variety of bars, restaurants and accommodation. Lautoka city is Fiji’s second largest city and only a short drive away providing access to local shops and markets.
Watch in awe as men from local Beqa Island pluck up enough courage to walk barefoot on white hot stones. No need to make the trip out to Beqa Island though, as the firewalkers perform in the different hotels in the region.
Fishing at Beqa Lagoon is great for everyone, year round. Troll for the adrenaline rush and experience the thrill of fighting with a yellow fin tuna. There’s a number of charter operators with big fast boats and excellent equipment ensuring your hunt is a successful one!
Become a local and enjoy a smooth thrilling ride down the Navua River on a bilibili raft (HMS Bilibili). Raft past villages, farm lands, pristine tropical rainforests, deep gorges and canyons, meandering rapids and cascading waterfalls. This is the way to discover and enjoy Fijian culture at its best! Watch Fijian actors dressed in traditional attire carry out mock battles, and there’s also firewalking and meke shows. The village located at Pacific Harbour is definitely worth a visit, and attached to the Arts Village are some eateries and souvenir shops, a pleasant spot to spend an hour or so.
