Called the ‘Best Sport City in America’, it’s the only city in the Southwest US where you can find all major American sports leagues. Don’t miss the world-renowned Dallas Cowboys if they’re playing when you’re in town. Make sure you visit Pioneer Plaza and take your picture with the massive bronze monument of cattle drives and cowboys.

Austin is not only the state capital but also the Live Music Capital of the World®. Live music can be enjoyed in more than 250 venues throughout Austin. Austin is also a foodie paradise. Home to Texas’ best BBQ joints, craft beer and farm-to-table-cuisine.

San Antonio

Houston Space Centre SPACE CENTRE HOUSTON

45 minutes from downtown Houston this is a fascinating day out. Known around the world as the home of NASA Mission Control, International Space Station Mission Control and astronaut training, it’s amazing to see behind the scenes.

This is a must-do in Texas as it’s tax free for international shoppers. There’s no better place to shop than Houston which is arguably the style capital of the south. From the Galleria to bargain hunting at the Premium Outlets, you’ll find it all.

Museums-in-Houston MUSEUMS IN HOUSTON
 

The Houston Museum District is one of the top cultural districts in the USA. With over 19 museums to explore from The Children’s Museum of Houston and the Contemporary Arts Museum to the Museum of Natural Science and the Health Museum.

This museum is dedicated to former American president, John F. Kennedy. Stroll through rooms filled with photographs and enrich your knowledge of the former president’s life with an audio tour. See displays that document the events of the assassination and discover how John F. Kennedy shaped the political system in America with his achievements.

George-W-Bush-Library GEORGE W. BUSH LIBRARY AND MUSEUM, DALLAS

This museum features a replica of the Oval Office, beams from the World Trade Center twisted from the events of 9/11, a Texas Rose Garden and a number of interactive exhibits.
Stockyards-National-Historic-District STOCKYARDS NATIONAL HISTORIC DISTRICT

San-Antonio-Missions SAN ANTONIO MISSIONS
 

In the 18th century, Spanish priests established five Catholic missions along the San Antonio River. Today, these missions represent the largest concentration of Spanish colonial missions in North America and are a UNESCO World Heritage site.
