To begin with, as fabulous as the casinos are, you don’t actually need to throw your money into a slot machine to have a good time. Check out one of the amazing live shows, from Cirque du Soleil to famous pop stars, or go window shopping (and celebrity spotting) in the many luxury brand boutiques. Just 50 kilometres out of town you’ll find the Hoover Dam, a massive piece of engineering that seeks to control the Colorado River.
