Las Vegas

Las Vegas

It’s one of the most famous cities in the world, and certainly one of the most provocative. You probably think you know what it’s all about, but spend a little time getting to know this fun city and you’ll discover its many surprises. To begin with, as fabulous as the casinos are, you don’t actually need to throw your money into a slot machine to have a good time. Check out one of the amazing live shows, from Cirque du Soleil to famous pop stars, or go window shopping (and celebrity spotting) in the many luxury brand boutiques. Just 50 kilometres out of town you’ll find the Hoover Dam, a massive piece of engineering that seeks to control the Colorado River. Be sure to add on a trip to the Grand Canyon to see what this mighty river is capable of.

★★★half star

In a central location, this is a true oasis with everything you could want and more. Take a stroll through the Tropical Wildlife Habitat, nestled in the hotel’s lush 15 acre grounds where there are exotic birds, fish and turtles and of course a huge flock of flamingos. There’s also the great family friendly Beach Club Pool or the adult only Go Pool with a lively pool party vibe. When the sun goes down there are a couple of bars, a nightclub and the on-site Margaritaville Casino.

Located on the south of the Las Vegas Strip, this hotel features a unique South Beach vibe and has plenty to keep you entertained with a casino, restaurants including the new Robert Irvine’s Public House, a Mandara Spa and even a comedy club. During the day, chill out on a lounger by the great pool surrounded by gardens or check out the scene at the seasonal poolside Sky Beach Club.
Exciting, hip and modern with one of a kind private terrace rooms where you can sit and look out over the Strip. Get lost in the 30,000 square kilometre casino, enjoy the boutique shopping and try the amazing selection of trendy restaurants within the hotel complex. With so much action a retreat to an oasis of pampering at the spa needs to be on your ‘must-do’ list.

This is one of the ultimate Las Vegas hotel experiences. Inspired by the Lake Como town of Bellagio in Italy, it is famed for its elegance and opulence. Why not treat yourself to a room with a view of the famous dancing Fountains of Bellagio? Wander through the stunning conservatory and botanical gardens or take in an art exhibit at the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Arts. Spend the day relaxing by one of the five swimming pools before heading to see a show like the stunning ‘O’ by Cirque du Soleil.
