Anaheim

Anaheim is one of those rare places where it’s almost impossible to keep from grinning from dawn ‘til dusk. Discover the magic that awaits. With two Disney Theme Parks – Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park – and an energetic entertainment, dining and shopping district, the Disneyland Resort is one of the favourite holiday destinations on the US West Coast. For a taste of Americana, be sure to take in a baseball or hockey game, but be warned, even here the happiness is infectious – where else but Anaheim could an ice hockey team called the Mighty Ducks be taken seriously!? If sports aren’t your thing, get lost at The Outlets at Orange a giant shopping and entertainment complex that’s guaranteed to keep that smile in place a little longer or cruise out to Huntington, Newport and Laguna Beaches for that Californian beach vibe.

SOME THINGS TO SEE AND DO IN ANAHEIM

Disneyland-square DISNEYLAND RESORT

Enchanting. Magical. Mesmerising. Just three of the words that are inextricably linked with the sheer delight that is Disney. Indulge in a whimsical holiday when you venture to Disneyland Resort in California…the Happiest Place on Earth. Two amazing theme parks (Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park) and endless ways to shop, dine and play! Turn an incredible holiday into your family’s unforgettable escape. Plan enough time to enjoy everything the wondrous world of Disney has to offer.

Knotts-Berry-Farm-square KNOTT'S BERRY FARM THEME PARK

Family fun never stops when you visit America’s original theme park, Knott’s Berry Farm. What started as a small berry farm soon began to grow into a family theme park destination thanks to famous fried chicken dinners, boysenberries and an Old West Ghost Town. Experience world-famous thrill rides and live shows. Make sure you don’t miss Camp Snoopy, home of the PEANUTS gang.

Angel-Stadium-square ANGEL STADIUM

Join the locals in watching an American pastime – baseball - and see the Los Angeles Angels play at Angel Stadium. With everything from hot dogs, popcorn, burgers and tacos, eating is as much fun as watching the game!

Shopping-square SHOPPING

For a little retail therapy and a day away from the theme parks head to The Outlets at Orange, MainPlace at Anaheim or South Coast Plaza who offer great shopping and entertainment for the whole family. Just 25 minutes from Anaheim is Citadel Outlet, offering around 130 shops featuring clothing, handbags, shoes and more!

Anaheim-Packing-House-square ANAHEIM PACKING DISTRICT

Nestled in the heart of Anaheim, the Packing District encompasses 4 historic landmarks, the glorious 2-acre Farmers Park, The Anaheim Packing House, one of the last remaining citrus packing warehouses in OC, the Packard Building, a former Packard car dealership and The MAKE Building, previously a marmalade factory built in 1917. Boasting over 40 unique food and beverage experiences, the Packing District offers a foodie paradise for culinary enthusiasts of all ages..

Anaheim-GardenWalk-square ANAHEIM GARDENWALK

An outdoor entertainment and shopping centre located near the Anaheim resort district. There are a variety of stores and you can dine at some favourites like Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., PF Changs and The Cheesecake Factory. Go ten-pin bowling or check out a concert at House of Blues, a nice escape from the theme parks.

Interactive-Dinner-Experience-square INTERACTIVE DINNER EXPERIENCES

Enjoy a night of sword fights and duels and plenty of crowd interaction at one of these unique dining experiences. At Pirate’s Dinner Adventure watch the buccaneers battle each other on the rigging of a 18th century Spanish galleon and at Medieval Times cheer for your favourite knight as they battle it out for the Princess’ affection.

Catalina-Island-sqaure CATALINA ISLAND

Enjoy a day out, only an hour’s ferry ride away from Long Beach. You'll find two distinct experiences on Catalina Island: historic and charming Avalon, and the more rustic and remote Two Harbors. Explore the island by golf cart, foot, or bus. Try zip lining, rock climbing or take one of the many land or sea scenic tours on offer around the island.
