Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh is a majestic land, offering breathtaking tourist attractions. It is the perfect holiday destination for any age. It takes sheer pride in its tourist attractions such as Agra, home to India's most famous landmark, the Taj Mahal and spiritual Varanasi.

The Taj Mahal rises from the mist as though from a dream. You’ve heard of it many a times but seeing it in person, you’ll interpret it as the poem of white marble and the most extravagant monument ever built for love. But the Taj is not just what Agra has to offer. It is one of three structures that have been awarded as UNESCO World Heritage status along with the magnificent Agra Fort built by Emperor Akbar which is a mixture of the Islamic and Hindu styles of architecture and the stunning Fatehpur Sikri Palace makes Agra a not to miss destination.

Varanasi is a city of traditional classical culture and is a microcosm of Hinduism. A city with a rich and vibrant past, it has no exquisitely carved palaces, no impregnable forts, and no architectural splendor, but it does have an inherent charm of its own; ghats are dotted with temples and a maze of alleyways.
