The operate domestic services in New Zealand and Australia, as well flights from New Zealand to Australia and the South Pacific. Further afield, Jetstar has operates regional services throughout Southeast Asia and Japan. The airline operates a modern fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft on a no frills basis, meaning the standard fare is seat only, and you can select other services you want such as luggage, food and entertainment when purchasing your ticket. Jetstar originally only serviced the main cities domestically, but recently introduced smaller planes to fly to smaller centres such as Napier and Nelson, bringing much needed competition to Air New Zealand. > View HOT Jetstar deals here THE ESSENTIALS Name: Jetstar Airways. Melbourne: Direct from Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown. Gold Coast: Direct from Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown. Rarotonga: Direct from Auckland. HUBS Auckland Airport: Auckland Airport is by far the largest airport in New Zealand by numbers of passengers received, number of direct destinations served and by number of airlines flying there. The international terminal is large, modern and well set out, with lots of shops and eateries. The domestic terminal however, is not so flash, although it is under renovation. Air New Zealand's domestic operation has check in kiosks however Jetstar do not and queues are common, so we recommend allowing extra check in time if flying with Jetstar at peak times. It's important to note that the international and domestic terminals are not connected, but are linked by a five minute free shuttle ride, or ten minute walk. Be sure to allow for this when connecting. Wellington Airport: Wellington's airport is small, yet modern and super efficient. There's a great range of shops and plenty of public spaces. An awesome feature of the airport is the huge 15 metre figures from the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit movies in the main lounge. Christchurch Airport: Christchurch has a great new airport constructed for the 2011 Rugby World Cup. There's a small range of shops in the domestic terminal including several eateries. The international terminal is connected and has its own range of shops. The airport has very large and modern public areas also. > View HOT Jetstar deals Enquire Now First name* Required Invalid Last name* Required Invalid Email* Required Please enter a valid email address Phone Invalid How can we help?Invalid My preferred House of Travel Store* Required Select Outlet Auckland Albany: Auckland North Botany Junction: Auckland South Browns Bay: Auckland North Devonport: Auckland North Ellerslie: Auckland Central Hobsonville: Auckland West Howick: Auckland East Milford: Auckland North New Lynn: LynnMall Auckland West Newmarket: Auckland Central Orewa: Auckland North Parnell: Auckland Central Ponsonby: Auckland Central Remuera: Auckland Central St Heliers: Auckland East Takanini: Auckland South Takapuna: Auckland North Whangaparaoa: Auckland North Bay of Plenty Mt Maunganui Papamoa Rotorua Taupo Tauranga CBD the Crossing Canterbury Ashburton Barrington: Christchurch South Christchurch City: Christchurch Central Church Corner - Upper Riccarton: Christchurch West Ferrymead: Christchurch East High Street Lanes: Christchurch Central Hornby: Christchurch West Merivale: Christchurch Central Northlands: Papanui Christchurch North Rangiora Riccarton: Christchurch Central Shirley: Christchurch North Timaru Hawke's Bay / Gisborne Havelock North Jenny Nilsson: Hastings Nelson / Marlborough Blenheim Motueka Nelson Richmond Northland Kerikeri: Northland Whangarei: Northland Otago / Southland Alexandra Balclutha Dunedin Lakers Gore Lakers Invercargill Oamaru Wanaka Taranaki / Manawatu Broadway: Palmerston North New Plymouth Stephen Parsons: Palmerston North Wanganui Waikato Calder & Lawson: Hamilton East Cambridge Coromandel: Whangamata Hamilton: Hamilton Central Matamata Morrinsville Taupo Te Awamutu Wellington / Wairarapa Featherston Street CBD: Wellington City Hunter St CBD: Wellington City Johnsonville: Wellington North Kapiti Coast: Paraparaumu Lower Hutt: Wellington North Masterton West Coast Greymouth Hokitika Westport I would like to receive email updates on the latest HOT holiday deals HOT Privacy Statement * required fields Done this?
